Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee, you're gonna be taking a look at the Rola Sports Series Roof Rack with REX mounting systems for flush factory side rails in silver. Part number 59682.Our Rola Roof Rack is gonna mount to our factory side rails and it's gonna allow us to mount a wide variety of accessories, maximizing our cargo-carrying capacity.Now, we all know that roof rack systems can cause a little bit of noise when we're driving. But that's where the elliptical shape of our crossbars is gonna come into play. It's not only gonna reduce wind noise and drag, but it's also gonna give us a low profile design.The rubber strip up here is not only gonna give us a nice contact point for our gear to mount up to, but also, we put the included key and remove the end cap, we can remove the weather stripping and expose the T-track to put in any T-track accessories that we'd like.Our crossbars are gonna be made of an aluminum construction, which means it's gonna be nice and easy to lift up and get them in place and they're also gonna be anodized, so they're not only gonna look good for a long time, but they're also gonna be rust-proof.The crossbars themselves are gonna be 3 1/8" wide by 1" tall. Now, the overhang from our factory side rail here is gonna be roughly about 4 1/2". With that, we're gonna have plenty of room to mount plenty of accessories, but we're also not gonna have to worry about hitting our head when we're getting in and out of our Jeep.Our crossbars are gonna have a minimum of 27 1/2" of spread that they're gonna need to be mounted. more

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2017 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Thule Complete Cross Road Kit with 58" long bars and locks, part number TH45058. So here's what our Cross Road Roof Rack looks like when it's fully installed. This is going to free up a lot of space on the inside of our car, allowing us to mount it to the roof and making more room for passengers and pets.Now our system is designed to mount directly to your factory side rails and instillation is going to be super easy, because it's already pre-assembled so we're not going to have to put it together. One of the features you're really going to appreciate is the rubber coating that's going to be on the bottom of our foot pack. It's going to keep it not only secure, but it's going to prevent any kind of scratches or abrasions on our side rail, as well as this strap that's going to wrap around and keep our roof rack secure to our side rails. It's a rubber coated steel strap, so not only is it going to grip well and keep it from scratching our side rails, but it's also going to last a long time.Now our bars are going to be 58" long, which means we're going to have plenty of room to mount several different kinds of accessories, like bike racks, kayak carriers, or even a cargo box. more

Today we'll be taking a look at the best roof racks available for our 2017 Jeep Cherokee. The type of Jeep Cherokee we're talking about today has the factory raised side rails, so the roof racks going to sit on top like so, and either wrap around or grip around the bars like you see here. First we have our Thule Aero Blade Roof Rack system. Down here we have the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System, and finally we have the Thule Aero Blade Edge Roof Rack System. Thule Roof Rack Review - 2017 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2017 Jeep Cherokee, we're doing a test of the Thule roof rack kit. This is going to consist of the Thule aeroblade crossbars, part number THARV53 and the Thule rapid crossroad footpack, part number TH450R. Now we already have our front bar installed. We're going to show you how to put our back bar together and then how we install it onto our vehicle. We've already got one of our footpacks in place. We're just going to show you that last one. We've got our footpack here with our two tools to tighten them down. more
