Best 2012 GMC Terrain Roof Rack Options

Speaker 1: Today on our 2012 GMC Terrain we're going to be taking a look at the best roof rack options available. The three roof rack systems we're going to be taking a look at today are going to be the Yakima JetStream roof rack system, and then the Thule AeroBlade roof rack system, and finally the Inno Aero roof rack system. While all three of these roof rack systems have their similarities, we're going to be focusing on their differences. We're going to start with the rubber strips at the top of the bars. Now looking at both the Inno and the Yakima, you can use T-track accessories just like you can with the Thule. The slight difference between these three is, with the Yakima and the Inno, all you have to do is push down the rubber strip and push your T-track accessory in place without having to cut the strip itself. However, to do that you have to remove the end caps and make that happen. more

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2012 GMC Terrain- Video

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2012 GMC Terrain

Today in our 2012 GMC Terrain, we're going to be test-fitting the inner roof rack system, consisting of part numbers INB 117. This is going to be the inner square crossbars, and part number INFR. These are going to be the NL 00:00:15 feet for the square crossbars for factory raised side rails. We already have the front one installed. As you can see, how these actually connect to the rack, you're going to wrap up underneath your factory raised side rails and hold them in place. Has a nice, sleek look on the side here, almost like it's factory installed, and we also have a lock at the end to ensure there's going to be no theft and tampering of your bars once they're installed. Now this, combined with the other bar that we have, will have a carrying capacity of 220 pounds, although you want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your car can withstand that kind of weight on its roof. Let's go ahead and show you how they install, or let's go ahead and show you how the rear one installs, excuse me. We already have it partially assembled on our table here. more
