Inno Roof Rack Review - 2012 GMC Acadia- Video

Today on our 2012 GMC Acadia we're going to be test fitting the Inno Square Bar Roof Rack System, comprised of part numbers INB117, these are the Inno Square crossbars, 46" long, and part number INFR. These are Inno feet for the square crossbars. You know a square bar roof rack system is great for carrying accessories up on your roof and freeing up space in your vehicle. Both bars combined have a carrying capacity of 220 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure it can withstand that weight. Now while the bars themselves aren't aerodynamic you can purchase a fairing separately which can cut down the wind noise and drag. Also all four end caps are locked, so once this is installed onto your factory raised side rails it's secured to your factory raised side rails as well. Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2012 GMC Acadia- Video

Today on our 2012 GMC Acadia we'll be test fitting the ThuleComplete Crossroad Kit with 50 inch long bars and locks part number TH45050. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front of our roof. We're going to position the front bar as close to the black drop down portion of the side rail as possible. We'll bring the rubber coated steel straps around the other side of our rear side rails pop off the in-caps and hook the straps into the connection points. We'll make sure our foot is as close to this point on both the passenger and driver side of the vehicle to ensure the front bar will be perpendicular to the roof. With the front bar in position we can then use the included tool to turn the black bolt to tighten on the straps up against the rear side rail. more

Thule Crossroad Loadbar Roof Rack Installation - 2012 GMC Acadia- Video

Today on our 2012 GMC Acadia we'll be test fitting the Thule Crossroads roof rack system using part numbers THLB50 and TH450. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front of our roof. We're going to set the front load bar as close to the black plastic connection points of our raised side rails. We'll make sure that the foot is as close to this connection point so the front load bar's perpendicular to the raised rails. With the front bar in position we can pop off the end caps to bring the rubber coated steal straps from the underside of the rail and hook them into the connection points. We can then use the included tool to tighten down the black bolt to tighten down the straps. With the front bar secured, we'll go ahead and place the rear bar onto the rear of our roof. Now again, we're going to set the feet as close to the black plastic portion of the rear raised side rail to ensure that both bars are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the roof. more

Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2012 GMC Acadia- Video

Today on our 2012 GMC Acadia, we'll be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroad Roof Rack System using part numbers TAHARB53 and TAH450R. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front bar onto the front of our roof. We're going to place the feet on the bar right next to the black plastic drop downs of the raised side rail. This will ensure that the front bar is perpendicular to the raised rails of our Acadia. With the front bar in position, we can pop off the end caps and bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the bar. We'll then hook them into the connection points and use the included tool to turn the black bolt to tighten down the straps. more

Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2012 GMC Acadia TH450R- Video

Today on our 2013 Volkswagen Jetta, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box, measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our box directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as necessary, so that they fit around our bars. We'll open the passenger side of the box and use the two hand knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. One of the great features of the Thule Sonic, isits ability to let you know whenthe feet are secure around the bars. When tightening, you'll hear a clicking noise to let you know it's secure. more

Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack Installation - 2012 GMC Acadia- Video

Today on our 2012 GMC Acadia we'll be test fitting theThule Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack System for race factory side rails part numbers TH7501 and TH7502. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar part number TH7502onto the race rails of our roof. We'll position the feet right next to the black plastic downward portion of the race rail. With the front bar in positionthis will ensure that the front load bar is perpendicular to the roof of our Acadia. With the front bar in position we can pop off the in-caps and position the straps in place. We'll position them on number 3 on the inside of the foot we'll then bring the straparound and hook them into the connection points atthe top portion of the foot. more
