Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Volt, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Yakima roof rack system. This is going to consist of the Yakima Jet Stream crossbars, part number Y00425, the baseline towers, part number Y00146, and the base clip fit kit for our Volt, part number is 706137, and a Y06126. Now, our crossbars are also available in silver with part number Y00428.The Yakima roof rack system is a great solution for carrying your vehicle accessories on your roof. This is going to free up space inside your vehicle and allow you to carry more gear, whether those are on bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers, or cargo baskets. The aerodynamic shape of our bars is going to help to reduce wind noise and drag, and the weather strip on the top as well as the bottom is going to help to reduce that drag as well. If we remove the end cap on our cross bar, you can see our weather strip is easy to push down, and we can place in channel mounted accessories.On our tower, we do have the option to remove our plastic lock core here and place an A metal lock core. more
