Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2012 Toyota Highlander well be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Cargo Box measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number th636s. To begin our test fit, well place the Sonic directly onto our crossbars. Since the feet are hanging out of the bottom of the box we can adjust them as necessary to fit around our crossbars while we place the bars onto our roof rack. Well open the passenger side of the box, and tighten down the two clamps on this side by tightening the hand knobs. Another great feature is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. Well move to the drivers side open the box and tighten down the two remaining clamps. more

With a factory roof rack assembled onto our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the Sonic directly onto our crossbars. Once we have it situated the way we like we can open the passenger side of the box and tighten down the two hand knobs on this side. This will tighten our feet around our crossbars. Well know that theyre tight enough when we start hearing a clicking or ratcheting sound. more

Today on our 2012 Toyota Highlander well be test fitting the Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 11 cubic feet in matte black, part number th613. With a factory roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the Pulse directly onto our crossbars. Please keep in mind that this box opens from one side only. Well be scooting it as close to the passenger side as possible for easier accessibility. Once we have the box in place, we can open the box, grab our clamps, and place them through the appropriate slots to make sure that our feet go around each crossbar. With all four in place we can then use the attached hand knobs to tighten them down. more

With our Highlander equipped with the factory roof rack system well go ahead and set our Thule Force directly onto our crossbars. Since the feet hang out of the bottom of the box we can adjust them as necessary to fit over our crossbars while placing the box onto our roof rack. Once we have it situated the way we like we can then open the passenger side of the box and tighten the two hand knobs on this side to tighten our feet around our bars. Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2012 Toyota Highlander, well be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11 Roof-Mounted Cargo Box, part number Y07193. We already have a roof rack installed on our Highlander, so we can mount the box directly to our crossbars. Well take the box and set it up on top of our crossbars. We do want to make sure that we position it evenly from left to right. Then, well fit the clamps around our crossbars and then open each side of the box to tighten the clamps down. Inside, there are two knobs on each clamp, a black knob which when loosen will allow you to slide the clamp assembly from forward to backward and a red knob which will close the clamp around the crossbars. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Toyota Highlander- Video
Today on our 2012 Toyota Highlander, were going to be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14 Roof-Mounted Cargo Box, part number Y07192. Now, our Highlander is already equipped with a roof rack and were ready to fit the Rocketbox Pro to it. Well take the box and set it up on top of our crossbars. We do want to make sure that its centered from left to right. Well fit the clamps over our crossbars then well open each side of the box to tighten them down. The black knobs on the clamps allow them to slide when loosen, and the red knobs are what will close the claw around the crossbar. more
