Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2024 Subaru Outback Wagon

Hi, everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we'll be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Box and seeing how it fits on the top of our 2024 Subaru Outback. Now, if you're looking to expand the cargo space of your Outback and you want to utilize that factory roof rack since you already have it, the SkyBox is gonna be a great way to do it, and there's a number of reasons for that. For one, it's a pretty sizable box, giving you 16 cubic feet of storage space. But two, the factory roof rack sits really close to the top of the roof on your Outback, and that can present problems for certain clamp round accessories just not having the room or maybe making contact with that painted surface on your roof. The low-profile clamps on the SkyBox are gonna work great with your factory bars on your Outback, making it, in my opinion, the perfect solution. more

Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Shadow rooftop box and seeing how it fits on our 2023 Subaru Outback, With 13 cubic feet of storage space inside the box and interior measurements measuring out to 72 inches long, 25 and five eighths inches wide and 11 inches tall, there's gonna be a good amount of room inside for a variety of different gear whether you wanna carry things like skis and snowboards, more long items or maybe a few duffle bags and small backpacks, camping gear, that sort of thing that's maybe a little bit taller. Overall, it's a fairly low profile box so do keep that in mind when you're loading it up. But you should be able to fit a wide variety of things. This box can open from either side of the vehicle so you have easy access whether you're having some street parking or in a parking lot where there's limited space. Just turn the key to unlock it. more

Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 rooftop box and seeing how it fits on our 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon. So one thing I do wanna note is that this roof box does work with your factory bars. That's how we have it installed today. You can totally use it with aftermarket crossbars if you have those too. But since your Outback probably is gonna come with factory raised rails and these factory crossbars it is important to know that it fits because a lot of crossbars from the factory are a lot thinner and sometimes don't work with as many accessories. more

Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop box and seeing how it fits on the top of our 2022 Subaru Outback. So I do wanna point out right away that we are using this with factory crossbars. That's pretty important to note because sometimes factory crossbars will have a lower weight capacity than aftermarket ones and generally they're gonna be a lot smaller, so fitting certain accessories is going to be a bit more difficult. So if something works with factory crossbars which a lot of these Subarus have, it's good to know because you wanna make sure the accessory you're looking at works with those. Now it's gonna work just fine with aftermarket crossbars too, pretty much anything will but with these ones you wanna know that it's working with those. more

Hey it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 rooftop cargo box and how it fits on our 2023 Subaru Outback wagon. So if you have a lot of items, you do have a decent amount of storage in your Subaru, but maybe you have some longer items, maybe you just have something messy, maybe you have skis and snowboards or something like a golf bag that's gonna take up a bunch of space. You'd rather get it up on the roof, but you wanna keep it safe while you're getting it to where you need it to go, this is gonna be a great option for you. So let's check out how it works. The box says 16 cubic feet of storage, which is kind of hard to internalize and know what that means. more
