Today on our 2012 Nissan Xterra, we'll be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14 rooftop cargo box, measuring 14 cubic feet in black, part number Y097192. With the Yakima round bar roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Rocketbox directly onto our crossbars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom box we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. Once we have the box in place, we can move the key to the unlock position, here on the passenger's side, this will allow us to open up our lid. Now we can gain access to the two hand knobs on this side of the box to tighten our feet around our bars. A great feature of the Rocketbox is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle.We'll move to the driver's side, open the box and tighten down the two remaining feet. Here at the rearyou can see that we have full access to our rear hatch. That completes today's test fit of the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14 rooftop cargo box, part number Y097192, on our 2012 Nissan Xterra. . more

Today on our 2012 Nissan Xterra, we'll be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11 rooftop cargo box, measuring 11 cubic feet in black, part number Y097193. With the Yakima round bar roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Rocketbox directly onto our crossbars. Since the feet hang out of the bottom box we can adjust them as needed to fit around each crossbar. Once we have the box situated, we can move the key to the unlock position, push the red button and open the lit of our box. Well use the two hand knobs on this side of the box to tighten the two feet on this side, around our crossbars. A great feature of the Rocketbox is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle.We'll move to the driver's side, open the box and tighten down the two remaining feet. Here at the rearyou can see that we have full access to our rear hatch. Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Nissan Xterra

Today, on our 2012 Nissan Xterra, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL roof top cargo box, measuring 22 cubic feet, in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With the Thule Rapid Crossroad roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our Sonic directly onto our load bars. Since the feet are hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as needed to fit around each bar. We'll move the key to the unlock position and open the passenger side of our box. We'll tighten the hand knobs to secure our feet around each bar. One of the great features of the Thule Sonic is it's ability to let you know when the feet are secure around the bar. When the foot is tight enough the bar, the hand knob will make a clicking noise letting you know it's secure. Another great feature is it's ability to open from either side of the vehicle. more

With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box, we can adjust them as needed to fit around each bar. Once we have the box situated the way we'd like, we can move the key to the unlocked position and push up on the lid, which will open the box. We'll tighten down the two hand knobs on this side of the box to secure our feet around our bars. One of the great features of the Thule Sonic is it's ability to let you know when the feet are tight around the bar. When you tighten the hand knob, you'll hear a clicking noise when the foot is tight enough around the bar. Another great feature is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2012 Nissan Xterra, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large rooftop cargo box measuring 16 cubic feet in matte black, part number TH615. Keep in mind that this box opens from one side only, so we'll be setting it towards the passenger's side for easier accessibility. With the Thule Rapid Crossroad roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our box directly onto our load bars. We'll move the key to the unlock position and push up on the lid to open it. We'll grab the feet and place them through the appropriate slots, making sure the claws of each foot go around the bars.Once we have those in place, we can then use theattached hand knobs to tighten them down. With all four feet tight, our box is secured, and we're ready to go. Here at the rear, you'll notice that we have full access to our rear hatch.
