How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima 16 Cubic Foot SkyBox NX on our 2022 Kia Sorento. Adding a cargo box is the solution to the problem of how are you gonna be able to increase your cargo area if you have a full house on the inside of the vehicle. So if your Sorento has the third row like this model here, you know with that back row flipped up, you have practically no cargo area and this is gonna allow you to compensate for that, 'cause otherwise your roof would be bare and it doesn't have any space so you're making use of some useless area. The standout feature on the SkyBox NX is the nano finish that is scratch resistant and also pretty sharp looking on top of your vehicle. It's built to basically conceal any scratches or abrasions that may come up on the surface. The box itself is pretty large. more

Today on our 2015 Kia Sorento, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11. This is going to have 11 cubic feet of cargo space. It's going to be great for anybody that wants to put their skis and snowboards in here because it's elongated shape. It's going to store those real nice so you can get them out of the elements. Today on our 2015 Kia Sorrento we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14. This have 14 cubic feet of cargo space and come in that nice black finish. Part Number is going to be Y07192. Let's go ahead and fit it up onto our aftermarket cross bars and see how it looks and how it fits. This will fit most all of your square bars, round bars, elliptical bars, factory roof rack systems. And we'll go ahead and set it up into place, ensuring that our feet are directly in front of our cross bars that we want them on, slide it back into place, and scoot it over to where it's centered on the vehicle. Now we want it centered on our vehicle so we can show you that of how it opens from both sides. more

Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2015 Kia Sorrento, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Shadow Series Cargo Box. Now this one's going to have your nice gloss black finish and 13 cubic feet of cargo space. Part number's going to be INBRA1250BK. Nice thing about this is it will fit most all of your roof rack systems, whether that be square bars, round bars, elliptical bars, factory roof rack systems, and even your aero type bars that you have on here today. Now, the nice thing about it is it has the quick fit feet, and we'll show you that once we get up here, once we get up there, we'll slide them through this rubber strip here on the backside around our crossbars. You can see here we have plenty of room to move them from front to back while they're up there so you can adjust it to your vehicle's specifications. Let's go ahead and set it up into place. Once we get it up top, we're going to center it on the vehicle. more

Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Kia Sorento INBRA1170CA- Video
Today on our 2015 Kia Sorento, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Shadow Series Cargo Box. Now this one here is going to be eleven cubic feet of cargo space and come in that nice carbon fiber finish. Keep in mind that it is just a finish and it's not actually all carbon fiber. It's going to be part number INBRA1170C8. We'll go ahead and fit it up on top of our vehicle. This will fit on most all of your roof rack systems, whether it's a spreader bar, round bar, elliptical, even your factory roof bar systems and aero type bars. The nice thing about this rack is you don't have to adjust the feet before you get it up into place. more

Today on this 2011 Kia Sorento, we're going to show you the Inno gloss black cargo box, part number INBRA1250BK. To start off, it has easy opening on both sides of the box. We're using coded key to unlock one side. We can go ahead and open it up. We'll take our key, put it in, rotate it to the unlock position, push on this button here and push up. Our hinge is spring loaded so it stays up into place. more

Today on our 2011 Kia Sorento we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic Double XL Rooftop Cargo Box with twenty-two cubic feet of space, metallic silver in color, part number TH636S. With the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack system on our vehicle we'll being our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the two closest knobs. We can then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps up against each bar. You'll know when the clamps have been fully tightened down when the knob starts to click. After moving to the other side of the vehicle we can repeat the same process. more

You will know the knobs have been fully tightened down when the knob starts to click. We can then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Today, on our 2011 Kia Sorento, we'll be test-fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box with 16 cubic feet of space, matte black in color, part number TH615. When positioning the box on your roof, remember that it only opens on one side, so you'll need to position it on the passenger's side of your vehicle. With the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin ourtest-fitby placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. We can now unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the four slots inthe bottom of the box. We can then take the clamps, slide them down though the slots overtop of each bar, and then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento well be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro11 roof top cargo box, part number Y07193. Well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles cross bars. Well unlock the box and open the lid exposing the four black knobs and the four red T handles. We can loosen up the black knobs to adjust the clamps to fit the cross bar spread of the vehicle and slide the box onto the cross bars. We can then secure the black knobs, secure the claws in place then we can turn the red T handles to bring the clamps tightly up against the crossbars.One great feature of the Yakima RocketBox is its ability to open from both sides. This will enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2014 Kia Sorento well be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro14 roof top cargo box, part number Y07192. Well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box onto the vehicles cross bars. Well position the clamps over the cross bars and unlock the box and open the lid. We can use the black knobs to adjust to fit the cross bar spread of the vehicle. We can then turn the red T handles to bring the clamps up around tightly against each bar.This box does feature a double-sided opening lid so we can move to the other side of the vehicle to access the other handles and tighten them down. You can see that we can easily access the rear hatch with the RocketBox secured. more

This double sided opening lid also enables you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle.Once everything is all tightened down and secured we can see that we can easily access the rear hatch with the Thule Sonic secured. more

After positioning the clamps to fit over the crossbars we can unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs to bring the clamps up around tightly against each bar.You'll know when the clamps have been fully tightened down when the knobs start to make a ratcheting sound. We can then close the lid using the included pull down strap to assist us. After moving to the other side of the vehicle we can again unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2013 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2013 Kia Sorento, well be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 11 cubic feet in black, part number Y07193. Now our vehicles already equipped with the Yakima RailGrab Roof Rack System and weve already gone ahead and preassembled our Rocketbox, so were ready to fit it to the vehicle. Well simply place our Rocketbox on top of our crossbars, making sure that the clamps are just in front of the crossbars themselves. Well then open up the clamps where we can then slide the box backward toward the rear of the vehicle allowing the clamps to engage on the bars. Well then open the lid where we can tighten the red knobs securing our box to the roof. With all four knobs tight, our Rocketbox is on and were ready to load it up. more
