Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 Ford Explorer

Today on our 2011 Ford Explorer, we will be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number 2H636S. With the Thule rapid crossroad roof rack system on our vehicle, we begin our test fit by placing our box directly onto our load bars. With the feet hanging out of the bottom of the box we can adjust them as necessary to fit around each bar. We will open the passenger side of the box and use the two hand knobs on this side to secure our feet around our doors. One of the great features of this box is its ability to let you know when the feet are secure; when tightening you'll hear a clicking noise when the feet are tight enough around the bars. Another great feature is its ability to open from either side. more
