Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2008 Ford Escape- Video
Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, we'll be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 rooftop cargo box, 11 cubic feet in black, part number Y07193. With the Yakima round bar system installed on to our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our RocketBox directly under our crossbars. Once we have it sitting on our crossbars, we can adjust the feet as necessary to go around the front and rear crossbar.They Yakima RocketBox does open from both sides, you can place it on your passenger side or your driver side of the vehicle. For our test fit today we decided to place it on the passenger side of our Escape. We'll move the key to the unlock position and press the red button to open up our rocket box. Once we have the clamps around our crossbars, we can then tighten the red hand knob which will tighten the clamp around our bar. more

Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, we'll be test fitting the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 rooftop cargo box, 14" cubic feet, in black, part number Y07192. With the Yakima round bar roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our RocketBox directly onto our crossbars. Once we have it on, we can then adjust the feet to fit around our bars. We'll open up the passenger side and tighten the two clamps on this side of the box. One of the great features of the RocketBox is its ability to open from both sides of the vehicle. We'll move to the driver side, push the red button to open the box, and we'll tighten the two remaining clamps by tightening the hand knobs on the inside of the box. more

Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2008 Ford Escape- Video
Today on our 2008 Ford Escape, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL rooftop cargo box, 22 cubic feet, in metallic silver, part number TH636S. With the Thule AeroBlade roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. With the feet handing out of the bottom of the box, we'll go ahead and make sure that they go around our load bars. Once we have it situated on the vehicle the way we prefer, we can then open one side of the box to tighten the two feet on that side. We'll know that the foot is tight when the hand knob starts making a clicking noise. Now we'll come over to the passenger side of the vehicle and open the box from this side, and tighten the two remaining feet. more
