Hey it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack MasterFit Rooftop Cargo Box and how it fits on our 2023 Chevrolet Suburban. So the Suburban is obviously a really large vehicle. It's got a bunch of storage, but maybe you have some longer items like skis, or snowboards. Maybe you have some muddy, sandy, dirty items that you don't want inside your vehicle. While a rooftop cargo box like this one from Rhino-Rack is a great option for you to get some of those items out of your car and onto the roof. more

With the Suburban, you have a lot of storage in the back, but if you get it full of people, items, and things like that add up pretty quick. If you want a way to get some longer items, maybe some skis, snowboards, golf bags, whatever have you, maybe even just some items that might be muddy, sandy, dirty, anything you don't wanna store in your vehicle, a rooftop cargo box like this is a great way to get them up on your roof and keep them protected at the same time. more

Malone Roof Box Review - 2019 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com, today we're going to be taking a look at the Malone Cargo12 Rooftop Cargo Box on our 2019 Chevrolet Suburban. So this cargo box is going to be ideal for getting any type of sporting equipment or luggage for around two people. It does have 12 cubic feet of space, so it's going to be ideal for those rather larger items. And it does open up on the passenger side, and the reason for that is. Just imagine if you're going on vacation and you pull over to the side of the highway, your driver's side is going to be next to vehicles going about 65 miles an hour, so having it open up on the passenger side is for your guys' safety, and that's definitely something I am very happy about.So just so you guys know, I did get the skis in here. It is at the deepest part of the cargo box, and it is a very snug fit. more

Thule Force-XXL Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2007 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Today on our 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box. This is an aero skin black finish and is 21 cubic feet. It also has a weight capacity of 110 pounds, although you do always want to check your owner's manual to make sure that your vehicle's roof can with stand that much weight. Today, on our 2014 Chevrolet Suburban, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box, with 22 cubic feet of storage space in metallic silver. Part number TH636S. With the factory roof rack already in place on our Suburban, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our cross bars. We found this is the best time to get our feet lined up so they'll go around our bars. We'll slide our box on, lining up all four of our feet. We'll then take a quick look to be sure we have our box centered. We'll then open the passenger side of the box, reach in and tighten the two Accufit knobs located on this side until they click. more

With our factory roof rack already on the Suburban, we're going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly on to our crossbars. We found this is the best tack to get our feet lined up so they'll go around our bars. With all four of our feet around our bars, we'll now take a quick look to be sure we have our box centered. We can then open the passenger side of our box, reach in and tighten the two Acutight knobs located on this side. These knobs are designed to click when you have the proper torque on them. more

We found this is the best time to get our feet lined up so they'll go around our bars. With all four feet around our bars, we'll take a quick look to be sure we have our box centered. We'll then open the passenger side, reach in and tighten the two gray knobs located closest to us. A great feature of the Force XXL is its ability to open from both the passenger and the driver's side. more

Today, on our 2014 Chevrolet Suburban, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14. A rooftop cargo box with 14 cubic feet of storage space in black, Part Number Y07192. With our factory roof rack already on the Suburban, we're going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly on to our cross bars. As we do this, we'll want to position our clamps so they sit directly in front of our cross bars. We'll now want to take a quick look to be sure we have our box centered on our vehicle. We'll then slide it rearward being sure that the lower portion of each clamp goes around the underside of our bars. With all four of our clamps going around our bars, we're now going to open the passenger side of the box. more

Today, in our 2014 Chevrolet Suburban, were going to test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box, with 16 cubic feet of storage space in matte black. Its part number TH615. With our factory roof rack system on our vehicle, were going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our crossbars. Our box is going to open from the passenger side, so we want favor this side as we install it. Well then open the passenger side of the box, reach in and we're going to find four foot packs. Were going to place one of these foot packs through each of the four slots located in the bottom of the box. more

With the factory roof rack on our Suburban, were going to begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our crossbars. The Pulse opens from the passenger side, so well favor this side as we install it. Well take a quick look to be sure we have our box straight. Well then open the passenger side, where well reach in, well find 4 foot packs. Were going to place these foot packs through each of the 4 slots located in the bottom of the box, and we will make sure that they go around our crossbars. Well then tighten them down to secure our box to our vehicle. With all 4 of them tight, were ready to load this box up with some gear and hit the road. We'll then open the passenger side, where we'll reach in and tighten the two knobs located closest to us, to secure this half of our box to our rack. Today on our 2013 Chevy Suburban, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 22 cubic feet of space, metallic silver in color, part #th636s. With the Factory Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's cross bars. After positioning the clamps to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid, exposing the 2 closest knobs. We'll then turn the knobs to tighten on the clamps up around the cross bars. You'll know when the clamps have been fully tightened down when the knob starts to click. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle, and repeat the same process. Now this double sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, you can see that you can easily access the rear hatch of our Suburban with the box secured. more

Box in position, we can unlock it and open the lid exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We can take the clamps, slide them down through the slots, over the top of each bar, and turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, you can see that we can easily access the rear hatch of our Suburban with the box secured. That will complete today's test fit for the Thule Pulse Large, part number Th615, on our 2013 Chevy Suburban. more

Yakima RocketBox Pro 11 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Today on our 2012 Chevy Suburban were going to do a test fit of the Yakima Rocker Box Pro 11 part #: y07193. With this vehicle equipped with the manufactures full roof rack system and our Rocker Box preassembled were going to go ahead and set it in place. We recommend to get a second set of hands to get the box set up on the roof line. With the Rocket Box in position and the clamps over the crossbars were now going to go ahead and open it up and tighten it down with the hand knobs inside the rocket box. With the Rocket Boxs dual lid opening design it can be mounted to the passenger or driver side. Now we have the hand knobs tightened down the Rocket Box is secured to the cargo rack and were ready to hit the road. more
