Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to be test fitting the Thule Through Ride Roof Bike Rack, Part Number TH535.We already have a bike installed on the rack, lets take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is attached to the rack, we're gonna have two points of contact with no frame contact at all. Instead, we're going to have this rear wheel strap with this rim protector here. This is adjustable the length of the bike rack to accommodate for bikes of different sizes. Up to the front we have our skewer mount here, which is going to grip your bike by its fork mounts. Now, this can also be used with through axles as well. more

Inno Roof Bike Racks Review - 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be test-fitting the Inno Fork Lock III Roof Bike Rack, part number INA391. Contrary to the title, this does not fit three bikes. It grips your bike at two points. We'll have a rear wheel strap, which is adjustable to length of the back rack, to accommodate for bikes of different sizes, and we'll have this fork mount up at the front, which will hold it with this skewer.Now notice that there is no frame contact once you attach this to your bike rack, which is good for carbon fiber bikes. Once you have it tightened down with the skewer mount here, it is covered with this plastic cover here, which is lockable. So not only is your bike secured to your bike rack, but your bike rack is secured to your roof rack, as well.Unfortunately, with the length of the bike rack, we are going to make contact with our hash, should we try to open it. more

However, it does add quite a bit of height to the bike rack itself once you do that as well and that should be kept in mind.With everything installed as it is, we're not going to have an issue of clearance either between our hatch and the bike rack. more

So once you have the bike attached, it is secured to the bike rack as well.At the rear, we have this wheel strap, which is adjustable the length of the bike rack to accommodate for bikes of different sizes and with everything installed as it is, we did find that it will make contact with the bike rack if you we're to attempt to open up your hatch. more
