Today weve got a 2010 Infinity FX35. Were going to be test fitting the Yakima Fronloader roof-mounted bike carrier, part number Y02103. Our FX35 is equipped with a full factory roof rack, so were going to mount our Frontloader directly to the factory crossbars. To do this, well place the carrier up on top of the crossbars. Well fit the front clamp around our front bar and use the hand knob to tighten it down. In the rear well fit the clamp around the rear bar and use the T-bolt and wing nut to tighten that clamp. more

Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2010 Infiniti FX35

Today were working with a 2010 Infiniti FX35 and were going to be test fitting the Yakima Forklift Roof-Mounted bike carrier, part number Y02098. To fit the carrier to our roof rack, were going to place it on top of our crossbar. Well fit the front clamp around the front crossbar and use the wing nut to tighten it down. Once weve done that, well reinstall the cover and then reinstall our skewer. At the rear of the carrier, well fit the clamp around the rear bar and use the t-bolt and wing nut to tighten it down as well. Then we just need to make sure that our skewer is unlocked and open and that the wheel strap is open at the rear of the carrier and then were ready to load our bike. more

RockyMounts TieRod Roof Bike Rack Review - 2010 Infiniti FX35

Today on our 2010 Infiniti FX35, we are going to be test fitting the Rocky Mounts tie rod roof mounted bike carrier, part number RKY1014. Our FX35 is already equipped with a full factory roof rack so we are going to mount our tie rod directly to the factory cross bars. To do this, we will set the carrier up on top of the cross bars. We will take the rubber coated steel straps at the front of the carrier, wrap them around our cross bars and resecure them to the head. Then we will tighten it down with an allen key. At the rear of the vehicle we will take the clamp, fit it around our rear cross bar and use the wing nuts to tighten down the rear clamp. more
