Now our Ford Edge is already equipped with a Yakima roof rack system so we're going to mount our Forklift directly to those crossbars. To do this we'll remove the skewer from the head of the bike rack first. We'll open up the clamp at the head of the bike rack and fit it around our front crossbar, and then we'll tighten it down with the t-bolt and wing nut. We'll slide the cover back into place and then we can reinstall our skewer. At the back we'll need to slide the clamp over our rear crossbar, and again tighten it down with the t-bolt and wing nut. more
