Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2008 Dodge Durango- Video
Today on our 2008 Dodge Durango, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon Rooftop Mounted Cargo Basket. This will be part number TH859 and it's going to be 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, have a depth of 6 inches and with its sturdy steel construction, it's going to have that 150 pound weight capacity and as you can see we've already got 3 of our feet installed up on top of our Thule Aero Blades. We're going to show you how to space it out to where you can have . We're going to show you how to place on that last foot on the side here once we get up on top of the vehicle. Now I'm going to talk about first before we get up there and start putting it in place is that you need to make sure that you space out your feet by the use of those two Allen bolts and you are going to space it out from the center of center of your crossbars. From this crossbar spread it's going to be 26 inches and you are going to need to have a crossbar spread between 24 and 32 inches. This one we'll set it at 26, we're going to move this and set them from the center of the circle in the middle of the bracket to the circle of the other one 26 inches that way when we get it up there it's going to be an easy application and we'll only going to need to switch that once we get it on another vehicle.
