This is gonna create a strong and sturdy ratcheting system to secure whether it's your boat or other cargo to your trailer, plus you have a bracket to give you some extra clearance too. The CargoBuckle is a self-retracting strap. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 40 foot long Erickson Ratchet Tie-Down Strap with the Web Clamp, the double flat hooks, and a 3,300 pound working load limit. Now, this is a nice, heavy-duty tie-down strap, this will let you secure your large cargo in your truck bed or trailer. The strap dimensions on this is two inches wide by 40 feet in length. If you noticed the double flat hooks on each end here, this will anchor the strap to the tie-down points, and the ratchet mechanism right here makes it very easy to tighten your strap or maintain tension on the strap, gives you a nice, long, wide handle here, gives you a very good grip even if you have gloves on. And what's nice, you can see there's a handle here that you pull up on, that'll release it, and what you can do with that is to free wheel it, you can put it all the way in this position, and then that'll let you free wheel as much strap out as you need, and then once you lift up on this and put it back in the ratchet, then you can ratchet in what you need. more

These can be used as regular ratchet straps on your utility trailer mounted up permanently so you've got some good tie down points because they are long enough to do that for certain situations, but they can also be used as transom straps on your boat. That's how we have it set up right now. And the nice thing about these is the fact that they are retractable. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with the etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this pair of Erickson motorcycle tie-down straps. These are gonna be ratchet straps that we can use on our motorcycle to get it secured whether it be on a motorcycle carrier like we have today in your truck bed or a trailer. The strap itself's gonna be an inch wide and six feet long. So for us on our carrier today, it was the perfect length to reach from one tie down up over our handlebars, down to our other tie down without really any extra slacks so we don't have to worry about taking care of all that. more

ShockStrap Ratchet Tie-Down Straps with Shock Absorbers Review- Video

So for the most part the ShockStraps are gonna be very similar to a regular ratchet strap. They've got their ratcheting mechanism with a really large easy-to-use coated handle, all of the zinc-plated hardware, to keep it resisting rust and corrosion over time. And you've got the coated S-hooks on the end for your tie-down points. Now for us, we aren't utilizing the tie-down points on our carrier because the S-hooks are a bit large. more
