Let's take a closer look.Now I've taken apart our set up, just to show you exactly what piece I'm talking about today. This is the water regulator here itself. It's going to help you change the water pressure from an outside source, to something that's going to be way better on your camper or RV. You can see it's got the mesh in there that's going to help filter out any debris or anything coming from the outside source, that way it never comes through this side, and never enters here.You can just take your drinking water hose, attach it to that side. more

Valterra High Flow Water Regulator Review- Video

Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer today. We're going to be taking a look at the Valterra High Pressure Water Regulator. So this is something that I would definitely need on this camper, just because it's just going to, one, save your hose. As you see here, it's a little bit higher off the ground, and if we we're to go connect it somewhere, we might see a little bit of kink starting in the hose. That's going to restrict flow, which isn't going to give you the right pressure inside for those nice showers you guys want to take.This is just going to kind of save the hose from kinking up, just because now you just pretty much just screw it on, just like you would up here, but it's just going to be facing down and it's not going to have all that weight of the water over time, when it sits in the sun. This way, it's going to protect the hose. more

Camco RV Water Pressure Regulator with Gauage Review- Video

Today we'll be taking a look at the Camco brass RV water pressure regulator with gauge part number CAM40064. The brass pressure regulator is designed to deal with the inconsistent water pressures that you may find at some RV parks. This brass regulator help keeps your water pressure at a constant 40-50 PSI. With the built in gauge, it allows you to easily see that you're in that range. There are 3 settings on the gauge, a yellow which means you're below 40 PSI, a red which means you're above 50 PSI, and a green area which is the 40-50 PSI range, which ideally you want to be in. This gauge does fit a 3/4 inch diameter water hose, and it is made of a durable brass construction. Now let's go out to our water hookup and show you how it works. Now we're here at our water supply hook up. Take the female end, you can see there's a rubber washer in there to eliminate any leaks, here's the male end, and here's our gauge. Again, yellow is for below 40 PSI, the green is the ideal range between 40 and 50 PSI, and the red show that we're above 50 PSI. We'll simply take our brass pressure gauge, you can see here this is an arrow that shows we have the correct flow, go ahead and put this hand tight. more
