Review of Furrion RV Transfer Switch - 50 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch - F50ATS

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this furrion 50 amp automatic transfer switch whether you're upgrading from a lower amp switch or you're wanting to replace another 50 amp switch that has been damaged. This is gonna be a great option for you. It will alternate between the two separate 120 volt or 250 volt power sources to help feed your RVs breaker panel. And that adjustment is going to be automatic. So if you are hooked up to a short power or an inverter and the short power for to fail this automatically will switch over to that generator when you get it up and going, if that's available. more

Progressive Dynamics Transfer Switch Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at Progressive Dynamic's Automatic Switch Box. There are three different versions available here at etrailer.com. You can get the 50 amp version that we've got installed here, there's also a 100 amp version, and a 50 amp version that has surge protection built inside of it. If you're running on shore power and shore power went out and you needed a way to hook up your generator without causing any backfeeding when the shore power came back online, this box is going to be perfect for that. There's a switch for your shore power here and for your generator here and only one of them can be active at a time. You can see here on our switches that the shore power is currently in, indicating that it's active. more

Review of Progressive Dynamics - RV Inverters,RV Solar Panels - PD52

Today we're going to take a look at the Progressive Dynamics 50 amp 120 volt 240 volt AC automatic transfer switch in this metal box. Now this is a 50 amp transfer switch that automatically move AC power between two separate 120 volt or 240 volt input sources. It'll automatically switch the power to your breaker panel between shore power and generator as needed. This switch will sense the generator power and automatically switch to prevent two power sources from entering your AC distribution panel at once.So the application for this is like power cords, onboard generators, onboard inverters. Has this protective cover on the top here that has a wiring schematic on the inside of it. Helps protect everything on the inside. more

Furrion RV Inverters F30ATS Review- Video

Furrion RV Inverters F30ATS Review

Today, we're taking a look at the Furrion automatic transfer switch. This is a 30 amp transfer switch, and what it does is it transfers automatically between two separate 120 volt AC power sources, such as shore power and generator or inverter electrical feeds. This is designed to activate once an electrical feed from the generator or inverter is sensed, and it features a 30 second time delay which allows the generator to run up to idle speed before automatically switching from shore power. It features the safety mechanical interlock, which prevents power sources connecting at the same time, and it has this really nice UL94 fireproof plastic casing. Now, internally, it features solid brass screw terminals for better conductivity and less heat. All the terminals are vibration resistant, so that's really good for mobile applications and nickel plated to resist corrosion. You'll also notice that your butt connectors are already pre-attached, so all you got to do is feed the wiring in and crimp them down.Pretty simple installation. more

Go Power RV Inverters 342GPTS Review- Video

Go Power RV Inverters 342GPTS Review

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a Go Power 30 amp, pre-wired transfer switch. This transfer switch provides automatic power switching between two separate 120 volt AC input sources. It is pre-wired and circuit protected, and it's designed with special features to really help simplify and speed up the installation. So, I've popped the lid off here, give you a look internally. You can see that's all pre-wired. It includes a cable with a builtin plug to connect to inverter output, and a receptacle that powers your converter, only when shore power is available. Now, I do want to point out that the ports, like the plug right here, they're labeled so this one says, "charger," this one over here says, "inverter," and the one on here says, "shore power." So, they're labeled indicating where they go, what they connect to. more

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a Go Power! 30 amp Transfer Switch. Now this transfer switch provides automatic power switching between two separate 120 volt AC inputs. The automatic transfer switch is usually installed to allow both your inverter and shore power to alternatively feed the circuits and prevent AC back feed. It automatically connects shore power, when available, to your breaker panel. And when unplugged from power it then connects your inverter output to power your circuits. Now, a transfer switch is a great option when it comes to powering the central distribution panel, which is where all of the RV's circuit breakers are located and it's great for that when power is needed when you're not plugged into a campground pedestal or shore power. This unit has all the connection points located right there on the inside. more
