Furrion Replacement 30 Amp RV Power Inlet Review- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the replacement Furion 30 Amp Inlet that's stainless steel. Now this plug is gonna be a great replacement if you have a 30-amp plug on your camper, your RV, or maybe even your boat. This is going to be a marine-grade plug, so it's designed to be outside whether it is an actually in a marine environment or not. With this specific plug, the biggest difference between it and a lot of other plugs in the market is gonna be that this is going to be a solid stainless steel design. Most of the other ones are gonna be plastic so this one's gonna last much, much longer. more

Now, the colors available for this plug are going to be in the square model, it'll be the white in the black. But if you have a round plug, whether it's on your RV or your boat, this one's gonna be rated for the same. It's gonna be made outta the same type of plastic. Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at the SmartPlug 30 amp replacement power inlet. This inlet is gonna replace a 30 amp or 125 volt AC inlet on your RV or boat. And this will allow you to plug it in to shore power with a 30 amp SmartPlug power cord that is sold separately, but I do have an example here so you can see how this is gonna work. So these power cords do have a cap that you'll remove and that's gonna help protect them when they're being stored. But if you haven't already upgraded to the SmartPlug, one of the main benefits of this system is that it is going to be a straight plugin. more

Epicord 30 Amp Twist Lock Power Inlet Installation- Video
Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Epicord 30-Amp Twist Lock Power Inlet. Now, you can see right off the bat, we have a white one. There is a black one available if all your other accessories are black or if your RV or your camper van is black that you're putting it on, you can put that one on, but if you have white accessories like we have on our white van, we use the white one. It's gonna be your standard 30-amp twist lock that you typically would see on a camper, a twist lock will fit right in here. I recommend picking up a 90-degree twist lock, so that you don't have all the stress coming off the cord, you just stick it right in, twist it, and then the cord comes straight out and goes straight to the ground. more

If you need to connect the second one, you just pop out the black plug and then put your connection in there and you'll have dual connections. more

Does include, right over here, one coaxial F-type connector and it does give you an extra port opening over here for installation of a second data port connection. Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Safe View Smart Power Inlet. This is a square, 50-amp RV power inlet that's going to allow you to hook up to your shore power using your power cord, which of course is sold separately. This is going to be the male connector that accepts your 50-amp, female twist-lock RV power cables, it is going to be compatible with locking rings. This does have the smart LED circuit sensor that's going to check your shore connection to make sure it's safe. It's got the illuminated letters here on the side, so we've got G for ground, L1 for your line 1, L2 for line 1, and then N for neutral. more

This square RV power inlet is gonna let you hook up to shore power using your power cord and this male connector is going to accept your 30 amp female twist lock RV power cables. And this is compatible with locking rings and the smart LED circuit sensor is going to light the letters G for ground, L for line and N for neutral with green or red lights. So the green lights are going to indicate that the circuit wiring is good and working properly. more

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the SmartPlug 30 amp RV Power Inlet. Now, this inlet here will let you plug in your SmartPlug cord to power your RV or your boat. You can see it is a 3-prong male inlet, and it'll accept the SmartPlug 30 amp female connectors which we do sell separately on our website, and I did wanna pop up an insert just to show you, there's one of those connectors on that cord there, and that's what'll plug right into here. Now, this inlet has a multi-point lock system for secure connection of that female connector, so when you plug that in, you'll notice there's cutouts here at the bottom on each side, so when it plugs in, it'll lock it into place to keep it connected. It is a straight-in, single-step operation, means no more twisting or fiddling with locking rings, and this design or the plug shape will take any guesswork out of how you connect it, so it's very simple to use even in the dark. more

JR Products Duplex Outlet Cover Review- Video
What's up, everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the Duplex Outlet Cover. One of the cool things about the Duplex cover is that the covers don't both come up at the same time so I can just pull this one up I just wanna plug in something right here, I don't have to have the whole cover come up and expose this so this one's still covered or protected. It's not like the other ones where you have to open up the whole cover and that's just kind of useless 'cause there's nothing gonna be plugged in there. As you can see, it's starting to snow so it's gonna be beneficial to keep this other one covered up just so the elements stay out of that socket. more

We're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to replace your old twist style 50 amp shore power connector with a 50 amp stainless steel smart plug shore power connector. And this is what our smart plugs looks like when it's installed. We do have it mounted in a sideways orientation because that's how the previous connector was. And that's due to this trim here. The lid wouldn't be able to fully open, making it difficult to insert your plug if you did have it in the upright position here. more

Now this comes in either white or black, so you can take your pick there, it doesn't come with both, but I just wanted to show them to you side to side, or side by side. So these are going to have the two openings so you can have your outlets protected, even from inclement weather, or if you're going to maybe use a power washer to spray down your RV, you don't have to worry about any water getting in to your outlets. The only thing I would say is that you probably don't want to come underneath them. There's a little like slit there kind of at the bottom of the cover. more

Today we'll be taking a look at the Furrion Power Inlet.This is rated at 30 amps. Has a nice stainless steel lid and housing here, so it's going to provide you good corrosion resistance. Works out well for your RV or even marine shore power hookups. That lid pops open, has a pretty good tension on it to help keep it in place. Does have a slight thread to it as well, so you just turn that lid about a quarter turn to open it up.You'll see we have our pins inside to match up with our standard 30 amp plug. Has the threads on the side there to also have a good connection with our 30 amp power cord. more

Today we'll be taking a look at the Furrion 50-amp RV power inlet. This is going to provide us a really stable and nice-looking inlet for our RV to get hooked up to that 50-amp power cord so you can connect to shore power. Has a nice thick lid to protect that inlet from any outside materials or any outside things like rain, road grime, and dust. It's going to be kept out of there. Has a little gasket on the top of that lid to keep all those things out from those pins.You can see we'll have our three kind of curved pins there to match up with our 50-amp plug, and then the threaded portion going all the way around to match with that standard fitting. The lid is made from a fiber-filled polyester, so that outer case is going to be nice and UV-stable. more

Review of Epicord RV Wiring - Power Inlet - 277-000137- Video
Today we'll be taking a quick look at the Epicord 30-amp Twist Lock Power Inlet. Whether you're putting this on your RV or boat, this is going to give you that crucial inlet port for your 30-amp power cord.We'll have our prongs here that get plugged into our cord, the female end of that. And then it has the twist lock design to help that cord stay in place. So you'll plug in your cord, twist it, and then thread that outer ring to get it to stay nice and tight. There's a little foam in our lid to help protect our plug, as we close that lid it keeps it watertight.On the back side, if we take this portion off, this is going to be sort of the boot that goes over our wiring, and then we'll see our ports here to plug in the wiring. We'll have W for white, and then it'll be color-coded green, there's a little green paint on the outside of this port, and then our third one will be black. more

Today we're gonna take a look at the Furrion 30 amp right round powersmart power inlet.Now this 30 amp power inlet will let you hook up to shore power. The plug type on this is a 30 amp, 125 volt NEMA L5-30p locking nail plug. On the front cap here, it does have a powersmart power voltage LED which will indicate normal or abnormal conditions.This little section right here, sort of a moon shape, that'll have a bright blue LED to it.It is a Marine grade fiber filled polyester outer casing, which is UV stable, white in color. Does offer weather proof sealing. Has a nice snap lock cap. You can hear that snap shut. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Mighty Cord Replacement RV Power Inlet. This power inlet provides an easy and convenient location for plugging in your RVs power cord. It's going to feature the male twist lock plug that accepts a 30 amp female twist lock plug. The threaded ring creates a weatherproof connection with a locking ring on your RV's power cord. The unit's made from a very strong and durable construction. It's going to feature a secure, water tight dust cover that protects the inlet when the unit's not being used. It's black in color. On the back side here, it's going to have a foam gasket that goes around the parameter. That's going to ensure a nice seal at the mounting location. When it comes to the overall dimensions, going edge to edge this direction, measures around 3 and 5/16ths of an inch. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Mighty Cord 50 amp RV power inlet. This unit's going to allow you to add, or replace the 50 amp power inlet on your RV. Again it's going to work great as a replacement, or if you're adding this to your unit it's going to work great as well. If you have a power cord that has a head connector on it you can actually cut that off to expose the bare wiring, and you can hard-wire it to this unit. This really can be used for a variety of applications, and it's a really nice, strong, and durable design. It's constructed of a polyester construction. Overall it's a nice tough plastic design that's white in color here at the visible portion of the unit. more
