Today we're gonna take a look at this Global Link right hand side Ultra E Pro electronic lock for your travel trailer, and it offers a keyed alike option. Now this electronic lock is for your travel trailer has this built-in LED touch pad for keyless entry. The electronic keypad right here allows you to enter a four digit code to lock or unlock the door. Does come with a default code you can see that's attached here. But basically when you touch in that four digit code right now it's in the locked position. more

Having installed a lot of door handles myself on RV, RVs motor homes, everything you can imagine it is super simple. Biggest thing is just making sure that you measure correctly beforehand and pick out the correct door handle. Now if you do have to opt something a little bit bigger you can cut out more of your cutout there kinda just trim it out a little bit more to fit that larger handle that you'd prefer. But you can't really kind of go back down unless you have a door handle that's also going to have a wide enough front on it to kind of cover up that if you do decide to go smaller. But other than that I do like a lot of the features on this. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer and today we'll be showing you how to install the Global Link RV entry door lock with keyed alike option here on our 2018 Forest River Grey Wolf travel trailer. On our Grey Wolf today, it has a front entry door which leads into the kitchen slash main living area of our camper and then it has a rear door which goes into the bathroom so that you have easier access to the bathroom without having to walk through the inside of the camper and get sand, mud, dirt whatever you have at the campsite all throughout the camper. Now the problem with that was that when the manufacturers made this, they made it two different key codes for the locks. So it's a little bit cumbersome to have multiple keys and if you run the risk of leaving that extra key at home then you have to go in through this door go all the way to the back to unlock that door so it becomes a bit of a hassle. Our new entry door locks are gonna fit a cutout hole in your RV door that is two and a half to three inches wide by three and a half to four inches tall. That's a pretty standard size for most RV trailers but you are wanna gonna pull that back plate off and just double check that measurement on your camper. more

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, I'm gonna take a look at this Bauer Products Right Hand European Style RV Entry Door Lock. Now, this is a nice European-style locking latch that'll let you replace the existing latch that's on your RV's entry door. This one has a nice handle shape that's easier and more comfortable to use than the traditional paddle style that's often used on RVs. This one being the European-style, you can see has a nice squeezed handle. All you have to do is squeeze the handle and that'll open the door with minimal effort. more

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Bauer Products Right Hand European Style RV Entry Lock with a rotary latch. Now, this is a European style locking latch that'll let you replace the existing latch on your RV's entry door. This will replace the Euro style locks that have a vertical cutout, and the door opens with minimal effort using the grabbable pull handle right here on the outside. So you can see this as the latch right here, that would go over the pin and lock the door, and then by pulling the handle, you can see that it would open the latch. The latch is nice and large, gives you minimal effort using the pull handle, and it's comfortable for larger hands or safe for even manicured nails. more

This is a nice full-sized RV door lock handle, which is easier to grip than some of the standard sized locks that are out there. This one does also use an integrated deadbolt system, provides added security, and just to show you how this operates, I wanna zoom in to show you, it does come with the two keys. So basically right now it's unlocked, so you can pull that from the outside if you pull this handle. Just like that, that'll open the door, you can see it unlatches it, and on the inside, same way, if you pull this handle it'll unlatch it. more

Jeff Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Bauer Products Right Hand European Style Entry Camper Door Lock. Now this locking latch will let you secure the entry door on your camper or your travel trailer, and this one, you can see is the new European style handle, which is a vertical grab handle that provides you with a larger surface area to grab the handle with and makes it easier to use. We've mentioned it's a right hand configuration, so it does install on the left side of the doors exterior, and you can see, it has the dual locking cylinders, comes with the two keys, but basically what you do is put the key in there, you put it in on the handle, and turn it a quarter of a turn that way and remove it, that'll keep anybody from opening that. So you can see that if you pull on the handle, it won't unlock the door, and the same way up at the top here, you can see, the deadbolt is already blocked. If you turn that this way, you can see that'll unlock the deadbolt, but it still keeps that handle lock, and again, if you want that deadbolt back, just turn it the other way. more

This is going to replace one worn out or damaged lock on your RV's compartment door. This is a nice fit for any plastic molded door that measures one eighth of an inch thick. You can see the barbs here on either side, so after we've pushed this in place, those are going to expand out onto the backside of the door to hold the lock in place so it won't be able to be any thicker than one eighth of an inch. I'll show you a visual representation there so you can kind of see what I'm talking about.This is a nice durable die-cast zinc construction, so it's going to be a very durable for you. It also has a chrome finish to it so it looks really nice. more

Maybe the key broke off inside that lock core, it's rusted out, it's just not working like it should, so we need to get that replaced.It's going to be pretty simple to get installed. You just need a flat blade screwdriver or maybe a Phillips head. more

This is going to be for a five-eighths-inch thick wall or door that you're going to be putting this into. That's going to be the length of the threads there. This just has this automotive style thumb latch to release that, so you can see it turns our cylinder. So it doesn't actually lock with a key, but it is going to lock our door so that it's not going to come flying open as we're in transit. more

This is going to replace or upgrade your existing lock, maybe replace a damaged or worn-out lock on your RV compartment door so you can get everything nice and locked up and secured again. It comes with the flat blade and also an offset blade. So I have it just on here just so you guys can get an idea of what it looks like. That offset, of course, you can switch it from one side to the other so if you need it to go out like I have it or more in works either way or again, you can use the flat blade. Attaches just the same way as that little square cutout to match over the square bump out.This is going to be a direct replacement for any 1-1/8" diameter core lock. more

I'm going to go over some measurements towards the end of the video to let you know what size this is, but basically it's just going to be a little thumb turning latch to let you operate that catch for your compartment door. Today we're taking a look at the Compartment Door Key Lock Set.This is going to replace a worn out or maybe damaged lock for your RV compartments, so we'll get our lock core and also the two keys to operate that. And we'll have an option of either a straight blade or an offset. Also have the hardware to get that attached, so if we take our straight blade, just fit that over the little square piece of the back, thread in our bolt with that star washer. So it should hold in place well.Of course you want to make sure that you tighten that down so it's nice and snug. more
