Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera Review- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Furrion Vision S wireless backup camera system. Obviously this is going to be a really helpful tool as a backup camera, whether we're going into a really tight parking spot at our storage lot, or at a campground where we have to back the camper in, it's going to give us better visibility and reduce blind spots. But even while we're driving down the road, it wirelessly links to a screen in your car. It's a five-inch screen that gives you pretty good visibility, and gives you real time feed and video while you're driving. So when we're going down the highway, and we wanna switch lanes or pass someone, we can be sure that we're fully past someone and we don't have to worry about misjudging the length of our camper, because we can see that car that we just passed in the backup camera here, and it's a pretty good fisheye lens so we get a wide field of view, and we can see a lot with it. more

Hey guys, it's Kevin here with etrailer and today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Furrion Vision S Camera System with side marker cameras here on our 2018 Keystone Cougar Half-Ton Fifth Wheel. This monitor right here is our seven inch monitor. There are the 4.3 and the five inch monitors, which can also come with those side marker cameras. The only issue is that the smaller one isn't going to be able to hold as many cameras. So realistically, you're kind of just stuck with the five inch or the seven inch whenever you're trying to add in those side marker cameras. Now, if you have a larger dash, maybe you're putting this in a motor home, then it definitely is better to go with the larger screen. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Furion Vision S Wireless Camera System here on a 2021 Grand Design Transcend Xplor. So the Furion backup camera system is gonna be an awesome addition here to your trailer because it's gonna allow you to remain safe when you're driving out on the road or backing up. So this camera system here is actually powered by the running light circuit, meaning it's gonna have power and you're gonna get a picture in the vehicle whenever we have our running lights on. So we're traveling down the highway, whether we wanna see behind us, maybe we need to get over in a lane, or we just wanna see what's going on at the back of our trailer. This is gonna be an excellent option for this. It does a lot more than just serve to help us back up. more

Hey, everybody, How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Furrion Vision S observation camera system here on our 2019 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite. So this kit here is an observation camera, meaning that the cameras are gonna have power as soon as we turn on the running lights in our vehicle. Now, a lot of these Wildwood X-Lites are actually pre-wired for this specific camera system. Therefore, it's gonna make for a plug-and-play installation. But if your particular trailer isn't pre-wired, you can still install this kit because it is gonna give you the hardwire harness as well. So there's quite a few variations of this camera system, and they're all gonna work on this Wildwood. more

I'm going to walk through the Furrion Vision S wireless observation system.What would be the purpose or reasons why we would want an observation system for our camper or RV Say we are towing this camper behind our SUV. We need something so that when we're backing up we don't have to have a second person back there, a spotter helping us back into a spot. And our side-marker cameras are going to allow us while we're traveling or wanting to change lanes, to see a lane, two, maybe three over so we can see what's coming up.Maybe your camper doesn't have cameras on it. A lot of the newer campers are coming out equipped with a rear camera, but they don't have side-marker cameras. The Furrion has kits that you get your back camera, or your rear view camera, along with your side view cameras, and typically they're just going to replace your factory running lights on the sides.This is what our light looks like once it's on the vehicle, it's going to come with a side-marker light. more

You can see here with our rear camera on, we have plenty of visibility, gives us plenty of sight distance not only behind us, but also to this side. It'll allow us to see several lanes over as far as several car lanes behind so we know what's around us at the back of our camper. If you've ever pulled a fifth wheel, you know a fifth wheel is very big and it's very hard to see anything back there. With this, we got plenty of viewing that we can see a lot of stuff around us. more

This camera system has this nice crystal-clear seven inch digital TFT LCD color monitor, with distance grid lines that are optional and adjustable. Does offer mirror image capability, and auto dimming feature. Does use built-in speakers. And it's menu can be navigated with the back-lit on dash buttons, or the included wireless remote.Does have this sun shade than can be removed if you don't need it. Does include these two mounts for it. more

It helps minimize blind spots. It helps prevent accidents and increases safety, and just overall awareness.Now, this system is designed to support up to three cameras. So, that means you can have three cameras plugged into the harness at the same time, and have all feeds viewable right here from the monitor.This is a 4.3 inch, full-color LCD monitor. Today on our 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be installing Buyers products RV backup camera system. This backup camera system supports up to four cameras for its display. One camera comes included so you can hook it up right out of the box and be ready to use it. We've got ours currently hooked up as a reverse camera, so we can see what's going on behind us.The additional camera slots could be used for a forward mounted camera, as well as two side mounted cameras. Now you don't have to put it in these positions, however, there are trigger wires for each of those, that are pre-labeled so that the camera will come on automatically when that trigger wire receives power. We've got our camera hooked into channel two, which is your default backup channel, and we've got our trigger wire for our channel two camera hooked to our reverse light circuit. more

This back up camera system includes a quad display, so you can have unobstructed views from all angeles. The camera that comes included with the system has a 120 degree viewing angle, so you're gonna get a nice wide angle view behind your vehicle, ensuring you can see what's behind you when you're backing up. On the camera itself, you'll have infrared LEDs for a low light situation to ensure you get a good picture quality and there is a optical sensor just below the camera that will determine if the LEDs need to turn on or off.The mounting bracket for the camera comes included, as well as the hardware to mount the camera to the bracket. You are going to have to provide your own hardware to get the bracket mounted onto your vehicle. However, you can pick that up at your local hardware store. The mounting hardware for the camera to bracket screws include Allen wrenches to get those installed. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with the 2 Camera Setup. Now, this two-camera backup system is complete with the 7" LED color monitor, the pedestal mount, a U-bracket mount for the monitor, remote control, has the two-color infrared weatherproof cameras, one power harness, two 66' long camera cable, and then the mounting hardware and a nice instruction manual. Now, we'll start with the monitor itself. The monitor, it's a 7" LED color monitor. It comes with a super sharp digital display and a pixel resolution of 800 x 480. The buttons at the bottom here are backlit, so they will illuminate in the dark. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Hyndsight Journey observation camera system. This is going to be a wireless system with a standard angle 45 degree lens.This is going to be a really nice system to have a camera and monitor really wherever you need it to be. It's gonna be a very versatile, easy to transport camera and monitor system.We turn our monitor on here with the button at the bottom, have to kind of press hard and hold it for about three seconds. and then the logo will pop up there and our monitor will be turned on. On the back of our camera, we have a large button there, the power symbol. Press and hold that until it turns on as well. more

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Hyndsight Capture Observation Camera system. The Hyndsight Observation Camera system is perfect for use where observation and safety monitoring is needed. So this would be great for use on any vehicle or trailer where clear visuals can help prevent collisions as well as provide safety monitoring. This is a wireless system, so when we say wireless, what we mean is that there's no wires that connect the camera to the monitor. They send signals and they pair and it's a wireless connection. The only wires that you need to worry about is when your monitor or camera needs to be recharged, you take one of the USB chargers, plug it into the charging port, plug it into a standard wall outlet and charge the system. more
