Rear View Safety Backup Camera Installation - 2011 Ford Van- Video
Today on our 2011 Thor Freedom Elite on the Ford E350 chassis, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the rear view safety back up camera system, part number RVS-770613. As you can see while backing up, the camera gives you a good sense of depth. Mounted up highly like that it's going to give us a good angle so when we do start getting closer to things like walls or doors or other obstacles, we'll know we're getting close, we need to slow down and then just listen for that assistant to tell us exactly when it is that we need to stop. That's good. The other great feature of the RVS camera system is that when you have somebody in the back guiding you into your position and helping you out in addition with the camera, they're not going to be able to yell at you all the way up in the front of the RV. There's a microphone designed right into the camera and you can hear that audio from inside the vehicle. Something I really like about the monitor itself is that when light levels increase, the monitor is going to brighten up to accommodate for that. more
