These are gonna be a set of running boards that will go great with your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. One thing you may notice is they don't have a crazy drop in them, but if you're often off-roading like the owners of our Jeep do a lot, it'll keep 'em up and out of the way so you don't have to worry about 'em getting snagged on anything. Carr Hoop II Side Steps Installation - 2020 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Carr Hoop II side steps on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. Here we have them in the matte black powder coat finish, but they're also gonna be available in polished aluminum. Now, these motorized running boards will lower automatically to create a pair of steps on each side of your vehicle. I'm gonna throw up a graphic down the screen, so you can kinda see what that looks like in action. The second step we'll deploy and retract when you open or close your door of the vehicle. Now, they do have built-in raised tread on these extruded aluminum parts, and that's to help you have grip and everything, but also, it's just one piece that's built in, you don't have to worry about changing out step pads and stuff in the future. more

I'm confident (door banging) stepping onto it to step into the truck and out, putting my tire weight on it. Decent amount of space to get your foot on, feels really good as far as where it gives you to walk and does go all the way to the rear on your double cab model and still very sturdy going across. So very confident in that. So overall, really, really good step. more

Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards Installation - 2023 Toyota Tacoma- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're gonna take a closer look at our Sure-Grip Running Boards on the Toyota Tacoma. Westin is a really solid quality brand across the board as far as the Sure-Step. These guys are gonna give you more of a OEM look as far as how close it mounts to the body of the vehicle. It's a cradle mount style, meaning that the brackets hold the step from underneath and it's bolted directly to the frame, so it gives you ultimate, you know, stability for it. The material is a lightweight extruded aluminum that is powder coated to protect against corrosion. Aluminum in general is naturally corrosion resistant. more

You can see that they're rocking the entire truck. You have a nice large step area, comes up to about 20 inches as far as usable step space, nice and rugged. And it's actually a polypropylene material that they use, so that's gonna be really good to hold up against the elements as well as UV light. It is a steel tube. more

Westin Grate Step Nerf Bars Installation - 2023 Toyota Tacoma- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Westin Grate Step Running Boards on our 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Overall, it feels really good. Out of all the running boards that I've looked at today, I would say that this has the best powder coat and the most aggressive design. The teeth on each one of the treads, they're actually cut in pretty deeply to get a nice bite on ice, snow, mud, whatever you may need, or even in wet, slippery, slick conditions, it can really bite onto the bottom of your shoe. The material is steel, so it's gonna be really strong. I really wouldn't be overly concerned with corrosion just based on the thickness of this powder coat. more

This is gonna be an oval style running board with a large foot plate here on the top. The foot plate and the tube itself will be about 4 inches wide. Now I've got a size 13 boot and you can see here it is more than enough space to be able to fit my foot on there. The only thing that concerns me about this particular set is that they do sit quite a bit underneath the truck itself. more

This is what our running boards are gonna look like when they're installed. You can see we have a nice large plate here. The distance between the top of our running board in the bottom of our kick panel here is gonna be a little bit different. Typically, these are pretty close, but our vehicle has a four inch body lift because it is equipped with the handicapped wing on the other side, where both passenger doors open at the same time in order for a wheelchair to get in. more

When we take a look at a set of running boards, what we'd like to do is, we'll look at what it's like to live with it. So right off the bat, you go to get in your truck, it's gonna be a nice, large space to put your foot. I have a size 13 boot, which a boot is typically a little bit larger in size than a typical tennis shoe or a sandal. So you can see there is more than enough space, about six inches extra past my boot, to be able to put your foot on that, get up in your truck nice and safely. more

Westin HDX Xtreme Nerf Bars Review- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the line of Westin HDX Xtreme Nerf Bars. These nerf bars are going to give you a much more aggressive look as you can see, than a traditional nerf bar. Traditional nerf bars will either have a round tube or an oval shape tube, whereas these will have lots of hard edges that give it a nice aggressive look on your truck. Regardless of what truck you're putting these on, I think they're gonna look really good, especially if your truck, like the one we have here, has a lot of black plastic on it, it blends in perfect with it. Now, when it comes to step size on these running boards, after all that is gonna be the most important feature about a set of nerf bars, is that this step, I have a size 13 boot, and these steps are absolutely massive. more

Before we get into that, though, let's just take a minute, check these out, and make sure they're gonna work for you. Adding Nerf bars to your truck can really make a big difference in terms of functionality, you know, making it a little bit easier to get in and out of the truck and appearance as well. But before you get into that why don't we just take a minute, check these out and make sure they're gonna work for you. Right off the bat it seems like a lot of people wonder, you know, are these gonna work with, you know, my particular Durango And from my understanding these are gonna fit all the different sub models it'll fit the GT like we have here today the RT and everything in between. Really I can only find one exception and that is the SRT models. And even then, it sounds like some of 'em still work. more

Westin R5 Modular Nerf Bars Installation - 2023 Ram 2500- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these Westin R5 modular nerf bars on our 2023 Ram 2500. So, these are gonna give you a nice, wide step, five inches wide to be exact, to help get up into your truck. With them being five inches wide, they're definitely a lot wider than most other ones out there. So, if you're looking for something that's gonna give you a good footprint, easy to step onto even with some larger boots or shoes, this is gonna be a great way to do it. With these particular bars, they go wheel to wheel, so they extend a little bit back from the cab and give us an extra step pad right here. more
