This is the 50 amp female connector which will plug into your SmartPlug cord set, and on this end is the 30 amp male connector that'll plug into a female twist lock outlet. Now the SmartPlug end, if you notice on each side it has these dual locking side levers which will snap the plug securely into the inlet, eliminates any stress on the connection. more

Now, this pigtail adapter will attach to your boat's 125/250-volt 50-amp inlet, and it gives you a male plug here for attaching to a 15-amp extension cord. Basically, the female plug here connects to the 125/250-volt 50-amp power inlet on the boat, and then the male plug here connects to a 15-amp extension cord that can be run to an electrical hookup. Now, the female plug, itself, it is a locking NEMA SS-2R design. The male plug on the other end is a straight NEMA 5-15P design. more

It uses a quick lock cap to help keep the inlet dry, and on the very front they have a nice Powersmart LED here on the cap that will indicate when power is present at the plug. It does use a marine-grade fiber-filled polyester outer casing. They do use nickel-plated brass connectors to help resist corrosion, and when you go to install your wiring, you just unscrew this, take it all the way off, run your wire through there, make your connections, and then slide this back up and just tighten it down.This is a universal fit. Today we're reviewing part number CAM55501 from Camco. This is power grip marinestyle powercord adapterwith handle. It connects 30 amp plugs to the power source on the dock or at the RV park. This is the female end, you plug your RV or boats 30 amp plug into the female receptacle and then turn the threaded locking rick clockwise, as you can see I'mturning it to my right and that tightens it and helps to keep it weather proof. Their instructions right on the plug telling you which way to turn the threaded locking ring to tighten it or to loosen it.At the other end of the 25 foot extension cord is the male plug and you're going to plug that into the 30 amp power source at the RV park or on the dock. The connectors are bright yellow so they're easy to see even in dim light. Now if you'd like you can also purchase separately this very convenient carrying handle. more

It allows you to connect the female end 30 Amp to the male end 30 Amp. The female end is at your boat or your RV and the male end is at your 30 amp power source. All you do is.
