How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the best ladder rack for your 2019 Chevrolet Silverado. Adding a ladder rack to your truck is a great way to increase your cargo capacity as far as those bigger, bulkier items without taking away from the capacity of your bed. Now, what I found here at etrailer.com, I've been in customer service for a while and I've been here on our demo test fit team for a little bit, and I've experimented with a few different ladder racks, so I'm gonna go through these three that I think they're gonna have the best application for your truck. I'm gonna start with the Thule TrackRac Track One. The construction of the system entirely is aluminum, so that's gonna hold up against corrosion out there in the real world. As far as the capacity, it's gonna be the strongest of the three that we're looking at where it can support up to 800 pounds. more

Hi guys, Adam with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Thule TracRac system on our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado. So this TracRac system is going to be very, very convenient to get all your stuff nice and organized. I like to keep my bed of my truck pretty much clear most of the time but a lot of the times I drive around with a ladder, maybe even a kayak when I'm going kayaking and to keep that up top and maybe keep some of my other gear in the bed of the truck is ideal, this TracRac is going to allow you to do that.Thule did keep in mind that you want to protect your truck so what they did was they threw in these little rubber pieces right here and that's going to protect your bed rails from getting scratches or abrasions. Also, it is a very, very nice design. It's got a very sturdy structure with a nice powder coated finish so it's going to resist against rust and corrosion. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Xporter Pro adjustable height ladder rack, part number TH500xt.Now this ladder rack is very useful for carrying elongated loads above the bed of your pickup without having to open up your tailgate and let it hang out. It's also going to free up space on the inside of your bed for other tools or gear, whatever you might have.You can also extend it above your cab a good amount, to carry those very long ladders, or lumber, anything like that. We also have these load stops that are in the T-tracks on top of the crossbars. All you've got to do is loosen up these hand knobs, and you can adjust the load stop to kind of sandwich your load between the two and then tighten it back down.Like I said, they do work in these T-channels. That's also going to let you know that you can utilize any type of carrier, such as a kayak carrier on top of our crossbars. If you have the type where it straps around your crossbar, you might need to pick up an adaptor kit due to the thickness of these crossbars, they're a little bit thicker than your traditional Thule AeroBlade roof rack system.The height of these crossbars is adjustable. more
