Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Over-the-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack, Part Number EN07707. This Over-the-Cab Ladder Rack is going to let you carry some of the longest items such as ladders, pipes and lumber.This over-the-cab extension is going to be one of the longest on the market, adding about 56" from the bed rail to the over-the-cab rail. The middle rail on the over-the-cab extension can be adjusted to accommodate various loads by loosening the bolts on each side and sliding it forward or backward.Now we can have smaller cargo here in the rear such as bags or coolers and strap them down and we still have room in the front for other accessories, or we could slide the rail forward and put those items up there and still have room for ladders and other things here in the back. The raised side rails provide extra support and also act as a load stop to prevent cargo from sliding off the edge of your ladder rack. The side rails can also be used as a tie down point, as well as the hooks here, here and here located on each leg.When you're ready to load it up the side rails will help you get that extra leverage you need to get your heavier, longer cargo up there. They can also be used as a handle to easily get into the back of your truck bed. more

Erickson Ladder Racks Review - 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevy Silverado, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Ericsson Ladder Rack System. This is going to be your 800 lb. Capacity ladder rack. It's going to be made out of sturdy steel construction, and as you can see, we've already got it placed inside the bed of our truck. Now a few things to note, that when you're placing this in your truck, is that you're going to have limited spots as far as bringing it all the way back like a normal ladder rack would, and all the way forward like you normally would, just because of the inside of the bed rail. Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Erickson bed mounted ladder rack system. This is going to be your aluminum constructed eight hundred pound weight capacity ladder rack. You can see it's going to be fully adjustable with the thumb screws on either side so you can get the exact bar overhang on both sides and get it fully adjusted. Same with your bump stops on top, those are going to be fully adjustable the same way and provide a nice tie down point and stop for your equipment and your gear. All right. Looking down here in the bed, you're going to see the J hooks that attach to the bottom side of the bed rail and attach the ladder rack to the bed safely. more
