Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the etrailer 5th Wheel King Pin Lock. Now, this is a heavy duty king pin lock that'll prevent theft of your fifth-wheel trailer. Uses an aircraft-grade aluminum collar here that'll fit around the king pin, and then has a pick-proof steel locking pin that'll secure that collar in place. Has a rubber end right here and a textured lock core on the pin. Makes it very easy to grip the lock, and it has this nice rubber cap that'll cover the key slot to help prevent internal corrosion. more

This tamper resistant sturdy lock is going to deter trailer theft by preventing hookup and this lock surrounds your fifth wheel trailer's king pin preventing wouldbe thieves from hitching your trailer to their tow vehicle. And I have an example of a king pin here and as you can see this is going to surround that king pin and I have this in the locked position. Before our time together I turned the lock with the key into the locked position. And if you will notice here this has a push and lock cylinder. more

So if you're wondering why you may be in the market for a coupler lock, for the King Pin box on your fifth wheel. Well, most of us, we store our fifth wheel at home, we don't necessarily have a lock storage unit to store the trailer in, or garage for that matter. This is a nice heavy duty cast iron lock, that's going to help prevent your trailer from being stolen, by preventing any would-be thief from hooking up to your king pin. So this is going to surround your commercial fifth-wheel trailer's kingpin, so that it won't fit into any thieves hitch. The conical design here is going to also hinder thieves from using chains, because in theory, the chains will just slip right down, so they won't be able to use those. This is going to have an inner width of 2 7/8 inch, just shy of three inches, and then in our height or depth, there of about 3 1/4 inch. more

What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this Kingpin Lock from Master Lock. It's gonna go right up in here, on your kingpin, lock in place with just the easy turn of a key. Let's check it out. The whole base made out of a very solid aluminum, it's also pretty thick so you can't just put a bolt cutters on there and cut this off. The lock is actually inside little room too so you can't access the front part of it, all you do to unlock it is just use your key, turn like that, now it's unlocked, and you pull that out, and then you can take it off. more

This lock is going to help secure your fifth wheel trailer by deterring theft.It comes with two keys. We can simply insert and you can see that little knob inside there when we turn the key, it's going to pull back so that we can easily insert this around our king pin. I do have a model king pin here for you to show you how this works. So you simply slide it up on the king pin, turn that lock, and that is going to prevent anyone from pulling up and driving off with your trailer.This does have a rugged weatherproof epoxy coating finish over top a heavy gauge alloy construction so not only is it going to be very strong and durable but it's also going to resist any rusting or corrosion or damage so it should last you a nice long time.It does include the two keys, and as you can see it does install very easily. more

Today, we're going to review part number AT89002. This is the Atwood AMPLock King Pin Lock. This will wrap around the king pin on your 5th wheel trailer to help prevent tow away theft. It is a very heavy, about 5 pound cast iron base, which will resist freezing, shattering, and burning. It has a nice black powder coat finish to help resist corrosion. The disc tumbler right in here, the lock part of it, helps prevent picking and bumping. It does have hard washers around it, which will prevent drilling into the tumblers themselves. more

Master Lock King Pin Locks - - 2999DAT Review- Video
Today we're going to review part number 2999DAT. This is the Master Lock Fifth Wheel, Trailer King Pin Lock. This heavy duty color will wrap around your fifth wheel king pin and the deadbolt style receiver lock right here will secure it in place. It's made of a powder-coated steel, which is durable on corrosion resistant and it is very bright red in color to provide a visible theft deterrent, and it also will remind you to remove the lock before hitching up again. This will fit most commercial and recreational fifth wheel king pincouplers. The 5/8 inch swivel head chrome-plated receiver lock will secure the color to the king pin and this pin right here can also be used as a hitch receiver lock also, we're not used as a king pin lock. Has a weather cover right here to protect the lock cylinder from any corrosion. more
