So with these trailer hitch covers, you know, it might be a couple of different reasons you want to use it, or at least, that I would, probably the main one being the appearance. So if you happen to have a trailer hitch that's well used, like ours is, and it's not the easiest on the eyes and you don't really wanna look at it, this could be a solution for you. You know, it covers all that up and it keeps it outta sight whenever you're not using an accessory, or pulling a trailer around, or whatever the case may be. Something else in theory too, it should help with is keeping the hitch in better condition. more

So right off the bat, this is gonna work with the two inch by two inch hitches, like we have here today on our Jeep, just as an example, and there's also a smaller inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter version available. So if you've got the smaller size hitch, there will be a plug that fits that as well, but really a super simple part, and it's designed for a couple of different reasons. You know, one of 'em being to help keep dirt and junk from getting inside of the receiver tube here, help keep it in good shape, whether. You know, it's debatable how well that actually works, but in my opinion, it's definitely not gonna hurt anything as far as that goes. more

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at this God, Guns & Guts two inch trailer hitch receiver cover. Now, the cover features a classic Colt revolver with the phrase, "God, Guns & Guts Made America Free!" And this oval face is covered in a protective marine vinyl, and this is of a durable ABS plastic construction, so it is very sturdy and durable, and it's gonna last quite a long time on the back of your vehicle in your trailer hitch receiver. Now, as you can see here, a removable hitch clip is included, and if you would prefer to purchase a hitch lock separately, this clip can be easily removed and replaced with a hitch lock if you so desire. Now, I do happen to have an example of a two inch hitch here, and let me line that up here for you, and so, I just wanted to give you a demonstration of how you can insert this in. Best way is just to push in on both sides of this cover, pushing that clip, and then it'll secure it in place. And again, this doesn't lock it, someone can still come by and take it off, but it does secure it in there, so that is going to hold on and it's not going to accidentally come out of your trailer hitch receiver. more

This is going to slide into your hitch receiver to help keep out dirt and deter rust, so that the next time you go to put your hitch mounted accessory in place, you're not gonna have to worry about a bunch of gunk being in there that's gonna cause it to bind up and be hard to slide in. This is going to fit two different sizes of trailer hitch receivers, so they include these mounting brackets that will allow it to fit into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver, they also include these mounting brackets that will allow it to fit into your inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver. Now, I just have these loosely installed that's why they're wiggling, you can tighten these screws down much more to create a nice firm connection there, and then if you we're to wanna switch it out, you just back those screws out, put these plates in in their place, and you'd be ready for that other hitch receiver size. So depending on which size you need, they've got both available here for you, so that you can fit in both those two inch hitches and inch and quarter hitches. more
