Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer hitch-mounted cargo carrier and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2024 Honda CR-V. Now whether you're running short on space on the inside of your CR-V and you're taking a road trip and you need somewhere to put everyone's luggage or camp supplies, or maybe you're just going to the hardware store, picking up bags of mulch, concrete, soil, things that tend to rip and make a mess inside the vehicle, in my opinion, are better kept outside because this is a lot easier to clean off than vacuuming out the carpet inside the cargo area. Regardless of what the reason is, a cargo carrier is a great way to just expand the space that your vehicle has. And I like the hitch-mounted carriers because, one, you're gonna get better weight capacity, and two, they're easier to reach than something on the roof. Now the weight capacity here is gonna be 500 pounds evenly distributed throughout the carrier. more

Now, in general, cargo carriers are a great way to expand the cargo space of your vehicle. If your CR-V doesn't have enough room inside, you can always add to it on the hitch, or let's say you've got messy stuff that you never wanna bring inside the vehicle to begin with. Think like trips to the hardware store, bags of mulch, concrete, things that tend to rip and make a mess. It's a lot easier to keep it out here, and by attaching to the hitch, it's gonna be easier to reach, and generally give you much better weight capacities than something like a rooftop carrier. Now with this one being their compact carrier, it's important to mention that if you need more space, you can always go with a larger carrier. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer folding and tilting hitch mounted cargo carrier and we're gonna see how it fits on the back of our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. Now, a hitch mounted carrier is a great way to carry extra stuff with you, whether you've got that third row of seats up and not enough room for luggage on a road trip, or maybe you're just going to the hardware store and picking up bags of mulch, concrete, dirt, things that tend to get ripped messy. You can keep that outside and not bring the mess inside your vehicle to begin with. It's a lot easier to just hose this down than it is to vacuum out the carpet on the interior. But this one in particular is going to be quite large, 24 inches deep and 60 inches wide of actual usable space and be able to carry up to 500 pounds. How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the hitch-mounted compact cargo basket from Flint Hill Goods on our 2023 Hyundai Tucson. Adding a cargo basket to your hitch is gonna help resolve the issue of having limited cargo space. When you have a vehicle like the Tucson, you only have so much area for those bigger, bulkier items, and this is gonna allow you to get those out on the journey with you, as well as getting those dirtier, more cruddy things that you don't necessarily want inside your vehicle. Our baskets constructed of tubular, black powder-coated steel, and what that means, basically, it's gonna be nice and sturdy for your cargo that you're gonna put back here to hold up to that 500 pound capacity, and the powder coat is gonna hold up against the elements and the abuse just from being on the road. You have nice solid tie down points on the edge if you're gonna use bungee cords or a cargo net. And on the rear, we actually have reflectors that are gonna help increase your visibility. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods wheelchair and scooter carrier on our 2023 Hyundai Tucson. Clearly, if you're lookin' at a scooter or a wheelchair carrier, it's to carrier scooter or wheelchair. Beyond that, you can actually get additional use for it as a cargo carrier to carry those bigger, bulkier items that don't necessarily fit into your cargo space. Another really great thing that it can work with is those heavy generators or pressure washers, those items that are on wheels to wheel up onto the back of your Tucson. Our carrier is a folding carrier and it is designed to fold up to stow away when you're not carrying your chair, scooter, or cargo. However, on the Tucson, with our etrailer hitch installed, you just don't have the clearance to fold up the the carrier without making contact to the vehicle, it's just not space for it. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the hitch mounted aluminum cargo basket from Flint Hill Goods on our 2023 Hyundai Tucson. Adding a cargo basket to your receiver hitch has its own benefits similar to adding a cargo box to the roof of your vehicle. With the Tucson, you're pretty limited as far as your cargo space, and with those bigger, bulkier items, this is gonna allow you to have that additional flexibility. So your heavier items that you wouldn't wanna hoist on top of the vehicle, you'd be able to put into your cargo basket on your hitch, and things that you wouldn't want exposed directly to the elements, you can put into a cargo box on your rooftop. Our cargo basket is constructed of extruded aluminum, and what the extruded aluminum does for you, it allows you to have a more stable and rigid material. Aluminum in itself is gonna be corrosion resistant, so you don't have to worry about that, and you have solid tie down points on the end of your carrier. more

Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we have the REESE Cargo Carrier. This is gonna be a 24-inch by 60-inch carrier and we're gonna take a look at how it fits here on our 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. This is a steel cargo basket with a 500-pound evenly distributed weight capacity, which means that you can carry a lot of things with this basket, expands your cargo space on your Equinox. Ideal for if you want to carry cargo that might be a little dirty, sandy or messy and you don't want it messing up the interior of your vehicle or if you wanna make it easier to lift up into the basket versus having to lift it into your hatch. This is actually a pretty good fit with the Equinox because it does have a little bit of a rise, and since you don't have much ground clearance with this vehicle, this is gonna help you out. Adding a cargo basket to your Sorento is gonna help you solve the issue of not really having a lot of cargo space, especially if you have the third role model like the one we're looking at here. When your third row is up, you practically have about a foot and a half of cargo space, so this is gonna help resolve that by getting those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you for your journey. What sets this carrier apart from other carriers is the fact that it has the included ramp. You can deploy the ramp by removing the safety pins and retaining arms, just by pulling and removing. When you first get your ramp, it's gonna be a little tight until it kind of, just due to the powder coat. And you're gonna just use that center arm here and pull out the ramp. So a quick overview of the Inno Quick Base System is that it's a modular system where you can either have the Quick Base on your hitch or on your roof and then you can mix and match different cargo accessories.
