Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Subaru Forester- Video
Today on our 2012 Subaru Forester we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20 by 48 Cargo Carrier. That part number is C18110, this is designed for both 1 1/4" and 2" hitches and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds. First thing we're going to do is take a few measurements, ground clearance being first. We're going to go to bottom of this bolt here and we're going to have about 16 1/2". Overall to our vehicle we're adding about 26 1/4" and our closest point's going to be about 7 1/4" away. With our Forester we do have a dual exhaust on here, one on the passenger, one on the driver side. more

Today on our 2012 Subaru Forester we're doing a test fit of the Curt Folding 20x60 Cargo Carrier. That part number is C18151. Now this has a 500 pound weight capacity and it's designed to work with 2 inch hitches. The first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements here. Ground clearance being first, we're going to have about 14 and 1/4 inches of clearance. Overall to our vehicle we're adding about 33 inches. more

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Subaru Forester- Video
Today on our 2012 Subaru Forester, we are going to test fit the MaxxTow 48 x 21 Cargo Carrier. It is designed to work with two inch hitches and has a 500 lb. Weight capacity. That part number is MT70422. So the first thing we are going to do here is take a few measurements. The ground clearance being first. We are going to have about 13.5 inches. more

Today on our 2012 Subaru Forester, we're doing a test fit of the Stromberg Carlson 23 by 60 cargo carrier. That part number is CC-100. This is designed to work with 2-inch hitches and has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. The first thing we're going to do here is take a few measurements. Ground clearance being first, we're going to have about 11 3/4 inches of clearance. Overall to our vehicle, we're adding about 27 inches. more
