etrailer Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2020 Mazda CX-5- Video
Andy: Hello everyone, Andy here from etrailer.com and today we are going to take a look at the etrailer, aluminum cargo carrier, on our 2020 Mazda CX-5. So, with this basket style carrier, it is a great addition to our CX-5. It is an aluminum construction, which makes it very easy to lift on and off, as well as keeping that quality and nice finish, it's going to last for many years to come. One thing that I really like about it as well, is how it is on the lower side, so if you happen to have those heavier items that you don't really want to lift up, let's say you had a cargo box on top of your car, you have the option of putting them in the basket right here. So, if you happen to have some muddy items like camping gear, maybe something that is a little on the heavier side as well, that you don't want to move in and out like a cooler, this would be a great choice.Also, as you can see, it gives us plenty of room in order to access our hatch here, as we'll do so now. And we have plenty of clearance. more

Andy: Hello everyone, Andy here with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the etrailer steel folding cargo carrier on our 2020 Mazda CX-5. This cargo carrier is going to work great if you happen to have, let's say, those heavier items. It has lower walls here on the side, so that makes it a lot easier since you don't have to lift them way up over onto the cargo carrier, it does accommodate up to 500 pounds. What I also like is it has the mounting points for you to use fork blocks when it comes to hauling or moving your bikes as well.One of the nice things is the fold up feature about this. If you happen to have some heavier items or let's say you're going on a trip to either the beach or on a camping trip, it will keep your interior free of any debris, mud, even possibly scratching some of those plastic pieces. It also frees up a ton of room for any extra passengers that you might have, as well.So this is a steel constructed cargo carrier. It does have a powder coat finish in black. more
