Today on our 2013 Mazda CX5, we're going to be test fitting the Circo Cargo Carrier for inch and a quarter hitches; part number 52071. This is twenty by forty-eight. Has a carrying capacity of three hundred pounds. It also has this nice mesh floor here, on the bottom of it, and that's going to make it easy to clean. We also have this railing all the way around it, which can serve as a tie down point for either your ratchet straps, or your bungee cords. We go ahead and give you a couple of quick measurements now. more

Today on our 2013 Mazda CX5 we're going to be test fitting the 20 by 48 CURT cargo carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number C18110. This cargo carrier has a carrying capacity of 300 pounds. It has this nice mesh floor here which makes it easy to clean and is going to assist you with keeping sporting goods, equipment, camping equipment, or even luggage out of the car to have more space for you and your family. Also, all around the edge of the cargo carrier here we have these points, which you can see. Those are going to be tie down points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. I'm going to go ahead and give you a couple quick measurements here. Message from the edge of the bumper to our outer edge here we've added about 28" to the rear of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Mazda CX5 well be test fitting the Curt 20 x 60 folding cargo carrier, part number C18100. To begin our test fit well slide the cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch in hole and install our hitch pin. With the pin in well put the clip on the other side, securing our cargo carrier to the vehicle. Well now go ahead and give you a few measurements. From the closest part of the cargo carrier, with it in the stored position to the back of the vehicle is three inches. In the stored position the cargo carrier has 10 inches of ground clearance. more

Today on our 2013 Mazda CX5 well be test fitting Surco 24 inch by 60 inch cargo carrier for two inch hitches, part number 52018. Well line up the hitch pin holes and then well secure the carrier with the standard five eighths inch pin and clip. Next well go over a handful of clearance measurements. At the rear of the carrier weve got about 11 and a half inches of ground clearance. Between the closest part of the carrier and the closest part of the vehicle weve got about one and a half inches of clearance. Overall weve added about 27 and a half inches of length tot eh rear of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Mazda CX5 well be test fitting the Curt 20 inch by 48 inch cargo carrier, part number C18145. To mount our carrier to the vehicle well insert the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up our hitch pin holes, thread in our anti-rattle bolt, and tighten it down using a wrench. Next well go over a handful of clearance measurements. Weve got about 11 and a half inches of ground clearance and about two inches of clearance between the closest part of the vehicle and the closest part of the carrier. Overall weve added about 21 and a half inches of length to the rear of our vehicle. more
