Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CRV we're going to be taking a look at the 24 by 60 CURT cargo carrier, part number C18152. Now this is going to be great for getting any gear, camping gear, luggage, anything like that you just don't want to keep inside your vehicle, whether it be dirty, damp, or anything like that. Now with this on, let's go ahead and take a quick few measurements. Overall, this is going to be adding roughly right around 33" to the total length of your vehicle. Now at the closest point to your vehicle this is going to be right around 8", is the closest point to the front of the basket here. Now as far as ground clearance goes, here at the back of the carrier we're looking right about 15". Now as you can see, we still have access to our back hatch to get anything in or out. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V C18110- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CRV we're doing a test fit of the CURT 20 by 48 cargo carrier. That part number is C18110. Now this has a weight capacity of 300 pounds and works with both 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. Although it does have that high weight capacity, it is very lightweight so it's easy to insert into our hitch and take out of it. We're just going to start off with a few measurements here. Ground clearance being first, we're going to have about 16-1/2" of clearance. Overall to our vehicle we're going to have about 27". more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CRV, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Hollywood Rack's cargo carrier. This is going to be fifty five inches long by fifteen and a half inches wide and it's going to be for your two inch shanks. You have your two inch shank here, excuse me, it's going to be for your two inch receivers, like you see here on the back of the vehicle. It's going to be part number HR1485. Let's go ahead and start off by getting those measurements. Our closest distance will be our first measurement, from the back of the vehicle to the back of the cargo carrier right here. It's going to be about nine and three quarter inches. more

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V mt70106- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CRV we're going to be doing a test fit of the MaxxTow 30x50 wheelchair carrier with a 48-inch pivoting ramp. This is going to be part number MT70106. It's going to have a sturdy steel construction, offering a 500-pound weight capacity with it's nice expanded metal base for easy clean-ability. This is going to be perfect for your motorized scooters or wheelchairs. And when you don't have it in use, it's going to tuck up against the back side of the vehicle, with its nice folding shank. Note that it does come with a 2-inch shank for your 2-inch receivers only, as well as that anti-tilt rattle device, which is going to make it nice and sturdy on the back of the vehicle, as you can see there. Today on our 2015 Honda CR-V, we're testing the Curt 20 by 60 folding cargo carrier. It's been designed for use with humans yet it's going to offer us a 500 pound weight capacity. Part number is C18151. As you can see, we've got a nice sturdy cargo carrier here. It's got the expanded steel style floor so that dirt and debris will fall right down through. It's a stamped out expanded steel so we don't have those sharper edges so they'll kind of hold onto things. more

Today on our 2015 Honda CRV, we're test fitting the Curt 20 by 16 cargo carry. Now this has been designed for use in 2 inch hitches, carries up to 500 pounds. The part number on it is Z18150. Now as you can see the Curt is a nice, solid cargo carry. It's going to have that expanded steel style floor. It doesn't have the sharp edges on it like we get out of the standard expanded steel, but it's still going to give us plenty of open areas for dirt and debris and stuff like that to fall down and out. Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CRV, we're testing the Stromberg-Carlson 23x60 cargo carrier. They designed to use this with a 2" hitch. It offers a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number is CCS100. You see with our cargo carrier, we're going to have some movement, we're going to have some play while we're heading down the road. That's pretty typical of any carrier that is secured using just a pin and clip. more

Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CR-V, we're test fitting Let's Go Aero Gear Cage. This is a 32 by 48 cargo carrier. It's been designed for use in a 2" hitches. It's coming offered with a capacity of 300lbs. Part number on it is HCR222. One of the things I immediately notice about the Gear Cage is how nice and how solid it is on the rear of the vehicle. It really doesn't move if the car doesn't. more

Curt 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CRV we're going to be doing a test fit of the Curt Cargo Carrier. This cargo carrier's going to be 24 by 60 inches long, also going to offer that sturdy steel construction with that 500 pound weight capacity and a 2 inch shank, that folds for your 2 inch receivers only. Your hitch kit and clip will not be included with this so if you'd like to obtain one you can get it on our website, part number PC3. This is going to be part number C18153, let's go ahead and get it fitted on to our vehicle, and see how it looks and fits. First thing we'll do is insert that shank in to our receiver, we'll slide it in and line up our pinholes. Once you have your pinholes lined up insert your hitch pin and clip. Then we'll get a few measurements starting with our closest distance first, and with our rack in the stowed position like this, it's going to be from the front of the rack to the backside of the bumper and that distance is going to be about 7 inches. more

SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CRV, we're going to be doing a test fit of the SportRack Vista. This is going to be 20 inch wide by 60 inch long cargo rack. It is going to offer that two inch folding shank that also comes with that nice, sturdy, steel construction, and a 500 pound weight capacity. It's going to be part number SR9851. It does also include your anti-rattle bolt, which, if we remove that, it looks like a normal rack. What that anti-rattle bolt is going to do is, it's going to help eliminate a lot of the sway, rattle, and wobble. We'll show you that when we get it on the vehicle. more

SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V sr9849- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CRV we're going to be taking a look at the Sport Rack Vista cargo carrier. This is a 20 by 60 cargo carrier. It's been designed for use in 2" hitches and it offers us a 500 pound weight capacity. Part number on it is SR9849. Rola 21x55 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CRV we will be test fitting the Rola Cargo Carrier, that's part number 59507. It's dimensions are 21" by 55" and has a max capacity of 300 pounds. It's for 1-1/4" hitches only. We can go ahead and begin by inserting our shank into our receiver and we'll line our pin holes up. That looks pretty good. Then we'll take our pin and clip .. this carrier does not come with a pin and clip. more

Curt 17x46 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Honda CR-V- Video
Today on our 2015 Honda CRV we will be test fitting the CURT cargo carrier. That's part number C18145. Its dimensions are 17 by 46, it has a max capacity of 500 pounds, and it can be used for 1-1/4" or 2" hitches. We've got an 1-1/4" hitch here today so we can go ahead and begin by inserting our shank into our receiver. We'll line our pinholes up. That looks pretty good. more
