Today on this 2014 GMC Terrain, we're going to be test fitting the 48x21 max tow cargo carrier. Part number MT70422. This cargo carrier has a 500 pound carry capacity. It's made out of a very strong and durable aluminum. It has these points at the front and the rear, which are going to be used as tie on points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee chords. Whatever it is you use to tie down your gear. I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. Today on this 2014 GMC Terrain we're going to be test-fitting the 23 x 47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier, part number M2205. Now this cargo carrier has a 450-pound carrying capacity. It has a mesh floor on the bottom here, which makes it easier to clean, as well as the walls are very easy to clean as well. The walls' height from the base of the cargo carrier measure up to about 22 inches, which will guarantee all the luggage, or whatever it is you're hauling, will stay nice and secure inside your cargo carrier. To load it, you simply pull out the 2 pins up front here, and you can tilt it forward and load whatever you need inside your cargo carrier. We'll go ahead and reinsert those pins for now. Next I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements. The first is going to be how much distance is added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier's installed. more

Today on this 2014 GMC Terrain we're going to be test-fitting the 23X60 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier, part # CC-100. This carrier does have 500lb carrying capacity, plus it has this mesh floor on the bottom here, which makes it easier to clean. It has tie-down points on all sides of the cargo carrier for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. It has mounts on either side here for lights or a temporary license plate holder, here, in case you we're to block off your license plate while you're driving. Next I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements. The first being how much distance is added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier is installed. I'm going to go ahead and measure from the edge of the bumper to assess the furthest point out. more

Around the borders of the cargo carrier we have this rail which can actually serve as a tie down point for either your ratchet straps, or your bungee cords. I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements. The first one being, how much distance is added to the vehicle once the cargo carrier is installed I'm going to go ahead and measure from the bumper, since that's the furthest point out. To this rail here, that's 28 1/4 inches. For our ground clearance to this point here, that's about 15 1/2 inches. more

Today on our 2014 GMC Terrain we will be test fitting the MaxxTow cargo carrier. That's part number MT70108. Its dimensions are 20 by 47. It has a max capacity of 500 pounds. It's for 2" hitches only and it's made out of a nice aluminum, which makes it easy to load into our receiver. We can go ahead and take our shank and feed it through our receiver and get our pinholes to line up. Once we've got those lined up we can go ahead and take our included pin and clip, go ahead and feed that through. more

Today on our 2014 GMC Terrain, we will be test fitting the Rola Dart Folding Cargo Carrier, that's part number 59550. Its dimensions are 23x56 and has a max capacity of 450 pounds and it's for 2 inch hitches only. We can go ahead and start by inserting our shank into our receiver. We'll go ahead and line our pin holes up. Once we get those lined up, we'll go ahead and take our included anti rattle bolt, go ahead and thread that through. Once you get that hand tightened, you can go ahead and tighten it the rest of the way down with our wrench and by tightening this up, it's going to help reduce the play and the rattle within our hitch and our cargo carrier. more

Today on our 2014 GMC Terrain, we are going to be doing a test fit on the Surco 24x60 cargo carrier. They've designed this we can use it with two inch hitches. It offers a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is 52018. Now the begin our test fit, we'll just slide the shank of the carrier right into the receiver tube of our hitch ere. We'll line up our pin hole with our hitch pin hole. Once we've got those lined up, we are going to take a standard five eights pin and we are going to place it in. more

Today on our 2014 GMC Terrain, we are going to be doing a test fit on the Maxxtow 17x50 compact cargo carrier. Theyve made this for use in two inch hitches. It offers a 500 pound weight capacity even with its smaller size. The part number on it is MT70107. To begin our test fit it's easy as just sliding the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. Then need to line up our pin hole with our hitch pin hole. Once those are inline with one another, we'll slide through our standard five eights pin and we are going to secure it with the clip. more

Detail K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 GMC Terrain

Today on our 2014 GMC Terrain we're going to be taking a look at the Detail K2 20 by 60 folding cargo carrier. They've designed this for use in 2" hitches. It offers a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is K2HCC602. To begin our test fit, if I can talk properly, it is as easy as sliding the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. We'll slide it in far enough to line up our pinhole with our hitch pinhole. Once we have those lined up with one another we'll take a standard 5/8 pin; we'll slide this through and then we'll secure it on the other side with our clip. more
