Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum 60 by 22 inch hitch cargo carrier and how it fits on our 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. So with the 1500, we do have a good amount of space in our truck bed, but maybe you want a little bit of extra storage on a longer trip, maybe you just want something that's easy to load in bags of mulch or dirt, gravel, whatever it is that might make a mess inside your bed that you'd rather not deal with, this is a good way to extend that storage or get some larger, messier items out on the back, so let's take a closer look. As I mentioned, the carrier is made of aluminum, so it's really lightweight, but it's still able to support up to 500 pounds, so it's still gonna be able to get a good amount of weight where you need it to go. It's got this grid design on the inside, so you can store some smaller items-ish, but you still have enough room for that mess to fall through, we have rails that go around the outside, as well as points on the inside for you to tie things down to. That being said, because these are aluminum and they are kind of thin, when we've been testing these, if we put any sort of real pressure on there, they do flex pretty easily, so we'd honestly recommend maybe not using that if you wanna put your straps there, we'd rather use the outside rails if that's an option for you. more

This is gonna be a good option for you if you want to get a little bit more storage out of your vehicle. Say your bed is pretty full, you're hauling something, or you have things inside your cabin that might be a little bit wet or a little bit muddy and you'd rather store on the back of your car, this is gonna be a good option for you. It is only 23 pounds, the carrier itself, so it's lightweight, but it can still support up to 500 pounds, so you get a lot out of it. It is a relatively small cargo carrier. more

So if your bed is full or you have some larger items that you might not wanna store in the bed or the cab of your vehicle, this hitch cargo carrier is gonna be a great way to extend that and get a little bit more storage out of your vehicle. The cargo carrier itself is made of a black powder-coated steel and it still only comes in at about 25 pounds. So for the construction, it still remains pretty light, which is a nice feature. Additionally, it's able to support up to 500 pounds. more

How's it going everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at our Flint Hill Goods 29 by 49 inch Hitch Carrier with the 60 inch ramp. It's gonna be capable of supporting up to 500 pounds and it will have this ramp that will fold down in just a little bit. So you can store some things like your scooters, your lawnmowers, we have a generator here, just anything that has wheels that you might want to be rolling up and down a ramp for a little bit easier removal. The first thing we will show you is how to unfold the actual ramp. So there are two U pins that surround each side of the ramp when it's folded up, held in place by the clips. more
