Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Ford Expedition- Video
Today on our 2011 Ford Expedition well be test fitting the 24 by 60 cargo carrier for two inch hitches from Surco, part number 52018. Now to being our test fit well slide our cargo carrier shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pin hole, and install our hitch pin. Well then put the safety clip on the other side of the pin which will secure our cargo carrier to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance at the cargo carrier is 17 inches. From the closest point of the cargo carriers platform to the back of the vehicle is 4 inches. more

Today on our 2011 Ford Expedition we'll be test fitting the 23 x 51 aluminum cargo carrier, part number UWS03511. With our vehicle equipped with a 2-inch hitch and our cargo basket preassembled, we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll begin by simply inserting the cargo basket shank into the vehicle hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin hole and insert our hitch pin. With our hitch pin installed, our cargo basket is secured to the vehicle and we're ready to go ahead and load it up. This cargo basket's aluminum construction makes it very light and easy to move around. more

Today on our 2011 Ford Expedition, well be test fitting the 24 x 60 Folding Cargo Carrier by Surco product number 52018F. With our vehicle already equipped with the 2-inch hitch and our cargo basket already preassembled were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. One quick note, our cargo basket is equipped with a rear lighting system. This basket does not come with this lighting system. This is an additional accessory.Well begin by just sliding the cargo basket shank into the hitch. Well line up the hitch pin hole and install our hitch pin. more

Today on our 2011 Ford Expedition, well be test fitting the 48 x 32 Pro Series Extra Large Cargo Carrier with Side Rails, product number 5800200. With our vehicle equipped with the 2-inch hitch and our cargo basket already pre-assembled we're ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We'll begin by inserting the cargo basket's shank into the hitch. We'll line up the hitch pin hole and insert our hitch pin. With our hitch pin in our cargo basket is secured to the vehicle and we're ready go ahead and load it up. This vehicle has side exit exhaust so we have no reason to worry about our cargo getting heated by the exhaust as we drive down the road.At this point we'll give you some dimensions for this cargo basket. more
