MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Colorado we're going to test fit the Max Tow 48 X 21 Cargo Carrier. That part number is MT70422. Now this has a 500lbs weight capacity and works with 2 inch hitches only. The first thing we are going to do here is take a few measurements, our ground clearance is going to be first. To the bottom down here we're going to have about 16 3/4 inches, over all to our vehicle we're adding about 29 inches, and our closest point is going to be about 6 3/4 inches away. Now if we lower our tailgate on our Colorado, we'll be able to see how much space it's going to take up when it sits out over the edge, it's going to sit about 10 1/4 inches over the top of our carrier, and we're going to have about 10 1/4 inches between the platform and the tailgate. Keep that in mind whenever you're loading things up, you may want to remove it all before you open that tailgate. As for our exhaust, we have a single passenger side. more

2015 Chevrolet Colorado. We are doing a test of it of the Curt Folding 20 x 60 Cargo Carrier. That part number is C18151. It has a 500 lb weight capacity and works with 2 inch hitches only. Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Colorado C18150- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Colorado we're doing a test fit of the Curt 20x60 Cargo Carrier. That part number C18150. Now this has a 500 pound weight capacity and works with 2 inch hitches only. The first thing we're going to do while it's on our vehicle is take a few measurements. We're going to start off with our ground clearance. This is going to be the point just up under our hitch, or the bottom of our carrier rather, at about 19.5 inches. It is because we have that raised shank in the back so it's going to lift our carrier even higher than our hitch. more

Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chevrolet Colorado- Video
Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, we're doing a test fit of the Stromberg Carlson 23 by 60 cargo carrier. That part number is CC-100. This has a 500 pound weight capacity, and is designed to work with 2 inch hitches. The first thing we're going to do here, is take a few measurements. Ground clearance being first, we're going to have about 14 1/4 inches of clearance. Overall to our truck, we're adding about 28 1/4 inches. Our closest point looks to be about 4 3/4 inches away. more
