Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 BMW X3- Video
Hello neighbors, It's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the Curt Cargo Carrier on a 2022 BMW X3. When you have a SUV, it's really nice to haul around the family and be able to do a bunch of different activities, and sometimes, when you're going on longer road trips, you run out of space, or even if you're just having to do a bunch of around the town of errands, you may fill up that trunk pretty quick, that's where a cargo carrier comes into play. This adds a whole lot of real estate to your vehicle, and pretty much you can add up to 500 pounds on here, so even if you are picking up maybe some stuff from the hardware store that's heavy, or maybe some bags of dirt, and you don't want them inside your car, you can also use that and put it outside, and not have to worry about getting your car dirty. As far as dimensions go, this is 17 by 46, it's pretty good amount of real estate here, so if you're putting your camper or your cooler or anything else in the back, you can load it up, it's gonna doing great back here, it's also not gonna collect water with this open design, and there's going to be plenty of spots to attach a strap to strap that down, that's all open, so you can kinda make it your own. Few quick measurements, from the furthest point of the rear fascia to the furthest point on the cargo carrier, we're looking at right at about 25 inches, and so that's something to keep in mind, if you are planning on keeping this on your vehicle for a long time, and you're used to parking somewhere, just know that you do have that extra two foot hanging out. Something else that's important is gonna be your ground clearance. more
