Saris Door County 2 Electric Bike Rack Review - 2021 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris Door County e-bike rack here on a 2021 Toyota 4Runner. Now this is a pretty unique bike rack in the sense that it has a lift on the back. You plug it into your seven way on your 4Runner, which in this case you will need an extension for, because the included cord does not reach your plug. But you can hit the down arrow on the back of the rack, and you can see, the whole bike rack starts to lower down. This will make it a lot easier to load and unload your bikes from the rack. more

Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack Review - 2021 Toyota 4Runner- Video

Now it's gonna be great because you can haul two bikes, 70 pounds each on this rack, and it's gonna hold it really sturdy. You've got a lot of points of contact on here, along with some extra features that we'll check out later like an included ramp. RockyMounts GuideRail 2 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the RockyMounts GuideRail two bike platform style bike rack here on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. So with this platform style bike rack, you're holding the bike by the tires on either side. That's really nice because there's no frame contact, so it's gonna be safe for carbon frame bikes, you don't have to worry about damaging the frame. Safe for alternative frame, we don't have to worry about any sort of bike adapter bars, and with a 60 pound weight capacity, it's even gonna be good for some e-bikes with the battery removed. And something really nice about platform style bike racks is the ability to tilt away. more

That's gonna be a bike rack that holds the bike by the tires. And that's really great for our carbon frame bikes like we have here, excuse me. Alternative frame bikes and with a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, we can even fit some e-bikes on here with the bike removed. Again, holding the bike by the tires here is one of my favorite ways to hold it just because it makes it really easy to load and unload. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp here on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. Now, the OnRamp is an e-bike rack that's going to hold up to 66 pounds per bike and with an off-road capacity or an RV rating of 40 pounds per bike. It's gonna hold the bike really well. You've got the clamp, the cradle up top, holding that tube, keeping it upright, and the two straps on each wheel holding that down in place as well. It is a tray-style design, so if you do have two bikes of similar sizes you could kind of rotate them, lean them, not lean them but set them offset from each other so you don't have any sort of seat handlebar conflict which I really like. more

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with each etrailer.com. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination 2 Bike Rack here on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. Now, this is a nice entry-level platform-style bike rack. It's going to hold the bike down here at each wheel with these rationing straps and with this clamp up on the center mast These two operate independently, so if you have two bikes where you have to have the clamp set at the same height, it's not gonna conflict with each other, which I really like. That's a big sticking point for some racks that have this style of attachment. They do also rotate 360 degrees to accommodate for those different style frames. more

Now this is a really nice entry level hanging style rack. One thing I wish is that it had a four bike option but this one's capable of holding two bikes with 33 pounds of weight capacity for each cradle. If you are looking for something that can hold three bikes or four bikes, sorry, you can check out the CURT premium, it's a really comparable option. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima StageTwo platform style bike rack here on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. Now, this is a really sharp looking bike rack and it's really solid too. We're gonna be holding the bike by the back wheel strap and a front wheel hook which means zero frame contact, making it really nice for our carbon frame bikes, alternative frame bikes, and with a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, even some e-bikes with that battery removed. If you are planning on taking this off road it does have an off road weight capacity of 36 pounds per bike. So just keep that in mind. more

Now it's gonna be a really nice hanging style rack. There's a lot of convenience features that it includes and I really like it. One thing to note with a hanging style rack though is we aren't gonna want to put a carbon frame bike up here that will be damaging to the frame. And another thing keep in mind is with things like alternative frame bikes or kids' bikes we will probably need a bike adapter bar to make this fit. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hi, everyone, Aiden, here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman XC2 platform style bike rack here on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. Now, the way this is going to hold the bikes is by this frame hook right here. So, right away, I'd want to advise you against using this with your carbon frame bikes. It's gonna damage the frame because of how much pressure this hook is putting down on top of that tube. And with any sort of alternative frame bikes or kids' bikes, you do probably wanna pick up a bike adapter bar to make sure you get a good solid hold on top of it. more

So, the V2 is going to have one bike that you can carry but you can add one more if you decided you wanted to carry two bikes. It is going to work with a two inch hitch but also an inch and a quarter hitch as well. It's gonna be great for your carbon fiber bikes as we do have a wheel hook. Hey guys, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at our Thule hitching post pro on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. So if we are taking our 4Runner down either to the trails or to the park, what's gonna be nice about this bike rack, it's gonna allow us to fit up to one to four bikes on it. One thing to keep in mind, this is not suited for like a carbon frame bike. As you can see here, our anti-sway cradles actually mount directly to our frame, so some issues we might run into there. You know, our standard men's and women's bikes, they're gonna have the appropriate frame size. Now if we start talking about kiddos' bikes, those might not fit correctly on here, so you might need to look at a bike adapter bar but that's something we offer on our site. more

So really opens it up for you can use it for regular aluminum frame bikes like we have here, carbon fiber, different frame sizes, like children's bikes, women's bikes, alternative frame bikes. You have even some E-bikes have those odd down tubes that aren't the same so, this doesn't have to rely on the hook coming down on the center. more

What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer today we're going to be taking a look at the RockyMounts monorail solo one on our 2021 Toyota 4Runner. So this is going to be a great bike rack just to get one bike to and fro, but you can add on if you decide to maybe bring someone else with you or you got another bike you want. The nice thing about this is it's gonna be great for your carbon fiber bikes cause it has a wheel hook over here. It's also going to be great for your fat tire bikes and your e-bikes. If they're under 60 pounds, we can use them with this rack. And we are going to have a five inch maximum wheel width where your fat tire bikes, which pretty much any fat tire bike you can throw at this thing. more
