Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our Kuat Transfer platform-style bike rack and seeing how it fits on this 2022 Tesla Model Y. The Transfer, being a platform-style bike rack, holds the bike in these wheel cradles and primarily by our front tire, as you can see to the right. This is going to make it a great option for things like carbon frame bikes, like you see here, and alternative frame bikes. It can support a weight of 40 pounds per bike. So not the best option for our e-bikes, but it can hold up the three bikes. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at how the Swagman Chinook two-bike platform rack fits on the 2022 Tesla Model Y. The Swagman Chinook is popular, because it's a good balance of affordability, has pretty good weight capacity, and it also works with inch and a quarter hitch receivers. So, in our case here with the Model Y, the inch and a quarter isn't as important of a feature, but you still might be interested with how it's a compact carrier that is still lightweight. Now, there's some other things with a Model Y that are worth considering, like it does come pretty close to the vehicle. Let's take a look at that. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Hollywood Destination E bike rack fits on the 2022 Tesla Model Y. So the Destination E is designed for your heavy electric bikes. So most bike racks are limited to about 60 pound weight capacity if they're designed for electric bikes. This one has a 70 pound per bike weight capacity plus it has an included ramp to help you out. Now unfortunately, the ramp is not stored on the rack, you're gonna have to store it inside of your car. Today we have a 2022 Tesla Model Y, and we're taking a look at an accessory that really compliments the car, and that's the Kuat Piston Pro X. If you're looking for the most premium bike rack in the whole entire world of bike racks, you found it. So this one's gonna really bring all those features over to the top. When it comes to just the basic features, we're gonna have the tilt away. So on our Tesla Model Y, we can still access our back, which it has a massive door. So I'm surprised that it's actually gonna work with this, but it does. more
