Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at Etrailer and today we have the Yakima EXO system. So we currently have the double up bike rack and the enclosed cargo carrier, which is the gear locker. We'll take a look at how this system fits our 2021 Subaru Outback wagon. This setup is great if you're going for a big adventure, you're going to riding, need a bike rack that can carry your bikes different shapes and sizes. But you also need some cargo space for your helmets, your gear, your shoes, maybe your tents. This is a great way to store all of that. more

Saris MHS 2 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Saris MHS platform-style bike rack on our 2018 Subaru Outback wagon. Now it's a platform-style rack that holds the bike by the tires. We've got two wheel hoops, one on either end, and that's giving a good, strong hold on the bike. We've got some secondary points of contact, but those are the main ones, and that's gonna mean zero frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame. Those secondary points of contact include this strap down here at the bottom holding our back wheel down, as well as this little wheel block up front that's just limiting the movement of that front tire. more

First impressions of the rack on the back of the Subaru, I think it looks good. Really simple way to carry around a lot of bikes. It does sit high off the ground, so a good ground clearance. And I wanna mention, you know, when you're using this rack on the back here, it's gonna be a lot more manageable, it's not gonna be up so high. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over the Hollywood Racks Road Runner 4 bike rack, here on our 2021 Subaru Outback. So, the Road Runner 4 bike rack, is gonna be a great economical option for you and the family. As we can see here, we can hold anywhere from one to four bikes. So, the Road Runner is what's known as a hanging style bike rack. So, the hanging style bike rack consists of the vertical upright with these two horizontal arms here. So, in regards to the hanging versus platform-style racks, the platform-style racks are a little bit easier to load your bikes on, and get them off, but they're also heavier and they're more expensive. more

So the transfer is going to be a platform style rack. Now there's mainly two different kinds of bike racks. We have the hanging style which have the vertical post and then those two horizontal arms. So the destination is going to be a great option for you and the family it's available in both a two-bike configuration, which is what we see here as well as a four-bike configuration where we can carry up to four bikes. So the destination is what's known as a platform style, bike rack, a frame mount in particular. So there's two main types of bike racks. We have the hang style and the platform style. So the hang style are a little bit more economical but they're definitely harder to use than the platform style. more

And in this case, the answer is yes, this does fold down out of the way. Right here, we have another lever. Pull up on it. The rack will swing down and give us all that space that we need to open up the back and get whatever we might need in an out of the back of our Subaru.Right off the bat, the rack that we have here today can hold up to a total of two bikes. more

There's a two-bike version, like we have here today on the back of our Subaru, but there's also a four-bike version available as well. And both of those are going to be available in three different colors. There's gunmetal gray, like we have here today.
