Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hey, everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Rack Sport Rider SE on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. What we have here is going to be a platform-style bike rack able to accommodate up to two bikes at an impressive 80 pounds each for their weight rating, which means that our heavier e-bikes are going to be an option for this. Now unfortunately, one of our main points of contact is going to be from the center mass, and it's going to be making that frame contact, which means that our carbon frame bikes unfortunately are not going to be an option for this rack. However, since our hook does have the ability to move up and down this rack pretty freely, that means that we're going to be able to accommodate most alternative frame bikes. Now, this rack does come with a tilt-away feature. more

What we have here is going to be a platform style bike rack able to hold up to two bikes individually rated for 66 pounds each. Unless we're going to be taking it off-roading or putting in our RV, then that drops our weight capacity down to 40. So if we do have it on a normal car, 66 pounds each. more

Curt Premium 4 Bike Rack Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt Premium four-bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2021 Nissan Rogue. This is gonna be a hanging style bike rack that holds the bike by the frame hanging down below the arms. There's three main points of contact to make this work all in the form of these stretchy rubber straps that hold the bike frame down into the cradles, with that third one being around the side here, limiting our side to side movement and helping with bike to bike contact. One thing I'll point out right away with the Nissan Rogue is that the whole rack sits very close to the vehicle. And that also means that this inner bike sits close to the vehicle. more

Our rack is going to be a platform style bike rack, able to accommodate up to two bikes individually weight rated at 60 pounds each, which means that our heavier e-bikes are going to be an available fit for this rack. Our two main points of contact are going to be a ratcheting hook on our front tire, and a wheel clamp here on our back tire. Since we're making no-frame contact, our alternative frame bikes, as well as our carbon frame bikes are also going to be options here. more

Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination 2 on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. What we're gonna have here is a platform style bike rack able to accommodate up to two bikes individually weight rated at 35 pounds each which means unfortunately our heavier e-bikes are not going to be available for this rack. We're going to have three main points of contact, a rubber strap on our front and back tire as well as a center mast making frame contact here as our main point. So unfortunately, our carbon frame bikes are not going to be an option either. One really nice thing is though that our main point of contact on our center mast here does move up and down while also having the ability to rotate, meaning that we can accommodate most alternative frame bikes. more

Malone RunWay 2-Bike Platform Rack Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we have the Malone Runway 2-Bike Platform Rack, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2021 Nissan Rogue. So the owner of this vehicle actually got this bike rack, because they're looking for something that is lightweight where they can easily lift it up and into their hitch receiver, but also, is affordable, so that's definitely where this sits. Now, you do have some pros and cons with this type of bike rack, like it does take a little bit more work to its features like tilt it away and fold it up, and we're gonna focus on that, focusing on the Nissan Rogue. There are two length settings for this bike rack, we have it at the furthest out setting, and even then, we still have a little bit of a close call when it comes to mountain bikes. So if you have long handlebars, this is something you have to be mindful of as the bike rack shifts around. If you need to tilt the bike rack away with the bike on, this does tilt away. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro Hanging-Style Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now, with this being a hanging-style bike rack, that does mean the bike is going to hang by the frame. You've got these dual arms with four sets of cradles, so capable of carrying up to four bikes, and having three points of contact on that frame. Two straps over the top that hold it down into these deep cradles, and the third one on the seat post here, acting as an anti-sway cradle, which does (indistinct) our side to side movement, helping with bike to bike contact and preventing the bike from running into our vehicle. A lot of different bike racks that we've tested today had clearance issues with the Nissan Rogue. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman Skaha 2 platform style bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now this is going to be kind of a mid-range bike rack, but able to work with a wide range of bikes. With this being a platform style rack the bike is going to sit on top of the rack in these wheel cradles, and this particular one holds the bike in place primarily by our front wheel hook right here. That's gonna be the thing that holds the bike upright and keeps it still for the most part, and it does a pretty good job at getting a strong hold on the bike. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the RockyMounts MonoRail 2-Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2021 Nissan Rogue. This is gonna be a platform style bike rack and what that means is the bike sits on top of the rack rather than hanging from it. This particular one has two wheel cradles and a front wheel hook. That wheel hook is gonna be the primary thing that keeps the bike upright and still and it does a really good job at that. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination e-bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2021 Nissan Rogue. This is gonna be a platform style bike rack which means that the bike sits on top of this tray and this one is held in by the frame. We've got a clamp up top holding onto our frame wherever it fits best. It can rotate around 360 degrees and move around the mast here to adapt to different frame styles. So a good option for alternative frames. more

As you guys can see, this is gonna be a great way of getting a multitude of bikes to the trailhead, whether it be for friends or for families. As you can see, we are getting a dual arm support here. So, gonna be doing a good job of not having any play on our bike going left and right. And as well, this guy has a couple advantage over some of the hanging styles you might see out there. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Kuat Transfer V2 Two-Bike platform rack here on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now right outta the gate, I think the Transfer does an excellent job of staying pretty low profile and with a pretty minimalistic design does a great job of getting some of our bikes to the trail ahead with us. You can see it has that little signature U-frame design that offers a couple key advantages over some of the other platform acts out there. The biggest one, as you can see, I can stand right in here and actually start getting right underneath our bike. more

Now a two-Tire Hold system does an excellent job of exactly what you think it does. It holds onto our bikes by their tires. So that makes it great for our carbon frame bikes that we need to get up on here. However, don't let it fool you. more

Now I'm a pretty big fan of the BackStage for a lot of reasons. We're getting a lot of maneuverability with this rack, however, we are still getting a nice stable platform for our bikes. Not only that, we are getting upwards of 60 pounds per bike to actually get up on here. So you notice we do have our big heavy ebike up on here. more

Hollywood Racks Road Runner Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Road Runner 4-Bike Rack Carrier here on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now the Roadrunner does an excellent job of getting, yes, four bikes up to the trail head. However, I think it really starts to shine by how much sway control we are actually getting for a hanging style rack. So if you're on a lookout for a way of making sure that our bikes stay nice and pretty while still having to utilize that hanging style, I think this can be a great concession for ourselves. On the end of the bars here you are seeing, we do have those two arm supports, and on either side we are getting some nice, little reflectors on the end. more

Now HoldUp does a good job of getting a couple of bikes to the trailhead and I think it looks pretty clean doing it as well. You'll notice a lot of red contact points, letting us know where we can start manipulating our rack. So I do like seeing that. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Swagman XC2, 2-Bike Platform Rack here on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now, right out of the gate, the Swagman does an excellent job of just getting our bikes to the trailhead. Now you're losing a lot of those bells and whistles, you might see on some of those more premium bike racks. As you can see nothing too crazy going on here. However, it is very effective at getting our bikes to the trailhead. At a 35-pound capacity per bike, we're getting most of our standard bikes to the trails with us today. more

Swagman RV and Camper Bike Racks Review - 2021 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Swagman E-Spec 2-Bike Platform Rack, here, for two electric bikes on our 2021 Nissan Rogue. Now I think the E-Spec does an excellent job of getting these big, heavy ebikes up on here. With a 70 pound capacity rating for each of our bikes we definitely are gonna be doing a good job of getting these big heavy ebikes up on here with no trouble at all. The platform rack itself isn't gonna be anything too crazy. I do kinda like how it is very simple, that that steel construction is doing a very good job of giving us a lot of stability and durability for our rack. more
