That's going to be a hanging style bike rack, capable of holding four bikes. Now with a hanging style rack, you want to avoid any sort of carbon frame bikes, because that will put some damage on that tube there, so just keep that in mind. This isn't necessarily a really high end rack, it's a really great entry-level option. If you're just looking for an easy, simple way to get you and your family to some trails, to ride of your bikes, this is gonna be a pretty good way to do it. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue BA22B- Video

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 base bike rack here on our 2015 Nissan Rogue. That's going to be a really nice platform style bike rack, and one of the standout things with this one is the way it holds it. It's going to be a wheel mounted bike rack, which means it holds it by the front tire here and has a secondary attachment point at the back tire with this strap here. It's going to be great for your carbon frame bikes because you're not going to have any sort of frame contact, but it's also going to be good for those alternative frame bikes or even e-bikes. Because again, we're not relying on frame contact to hook onto and it's gonna have a 60 pound weight capacity. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video

Hi, everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima On-ramp two bike platform rack here on the back of our 2015 Nissan Rogue. Now it's gonna be a great way to carry up to two e-bikes with you on your journeys. The weight capacity per bike is 66 pounds so, it can be good for those bigger e-bikes too just to make sure you've got that battery removed for safety when you're going down the road. I really like how this one works for a number of reasons. It holds the bike really well with this cradle up here and these two straps and the wheels down here at the bottom. more

Thule Hitching-Post-Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video

Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue, we're doing a test-fit of the Thule Hitching Post Pro Hanging-Style 4-Bike Rack, that part number is: TH934XTR. Now we all ready have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we secure it in place. We have three straps all together, we've got two over the top portion of our frame and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. We're going to start by pulling down and lifting up to release those. We'll be able to pull our bike off and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, we'll take a few measurements here. First is going to be overall what we're adding to our vehicle. With our arms hanging out, we've got about 38 inches. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video

In this 2015 Nissan Rogue, you're going to be testing the Swagman XC 2 bike rack, part number S64650. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. The first feature I'd like to show off is how it's actually attached to the rack. We only have really one point of contact, and that's going to be a frame hook up at the top, which is padded to make sure that there's going to be no scratching or anything like that when you install your bike onto this rack. We also have these adjustable wheel cradles at the bottom here. Just loosen up these knobs. They can move along the length of the bike rack, and this is going to assist with loading it up, and it also can accommodate different size bikes as well. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

Softride Element-Parallelogram Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video

Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be test fitting the Softride Element Parallelogram Tilting 4-Bike Rack, part number SR26248. We already have a bike on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now, the most prominent feature of this rack is the fact that this can tilt away from the vehicle with the bikes still attached, which is pretty unique for a hanging style bike rack. How it does that is, you come to this black handle on the other side of the mast, pull out like so, and just let it come to you. With it in this position, we now have full access to the rear hatch to get whatever it is we need and plenty of space on either side to do so as you can see here. To put it back in its original position, just simply push back up and it will lock back into place. more

Today on this 2015 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Roadway two bike rack, part number TH912XTR. As you can see we already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look at it and show off some of the features. Now how this bike is attached to the rack, you're going to have three points of contact with your bike's frame. We're going to have two straps up top here and one off to the side, which is going to act as an anti-sway strap to keep it from going back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack or the bikes in front of it. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. Now it's always good practice once you take the straps just to put them back on just because you don't want to lose the while you're driving and you don't want them flapping around while you're driving. more

Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video

Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue we're going to be doing a test fit of the Inno Tire Hold 3. This is going to be your platform-style 3bkr, part number INH305-306. As you can see, we've already got our rack up here on our hitch with our bike in place so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it fully assembled and installed on your vehicle. Now do keep in mind that this rack does come with your 1-1/4" shank with a 2" adapter. If you plan on using it with your class one receivers, you will only be able to carry up to two bikes, and that's per your hitch's specifications. You can carry all three bikes with your class two and three receivers. It also does come with your anti-rattle bolt to help reduce a lot of the sway, rattle, and wobble that you would have in any ordinary bike rack. more

SportRack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video

Today on our 2015 Nissan Rouge, we're going to be doing a test fit of the SportRack 3, Hanging Style 3-Bike Rack, part #SR2403. As you can see, we already have our bike up here on our platform, so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it fully assembled and on the back of your vehicle. This rack does come with your inch and a quarter shank, as well as your 2-inch adapter, so you can use it with your Class 1, 2, and 3 receivers. The thing that you need to keep in mind, though, is, if you're going to be using it with your Class 1 receivers, you will only be able to carry up to 2 bikes. That's per the weight requirements of your Class 1 receiver. Let's go ahead and start off with a few measurements. Our closest distance is going to be at the bottom of the flange down here on the bottom side at about 3 3/4 inches to the back side of the receiver. Overall distance that we've added to the back of the vehicle, from the rear of the bumper to the back of the rack, at about 29 inches. more

Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Swagman Dispatch. This is going to be your platform style 2 bike rack, part number S64684. As you can see, we already got our bike on our rack so you can see what it's going to look like once you have it fully assembled and on the back of your vehicle. This rack is going to come with your two inch shank for your two inch receivers only as well as an anti-rattle bolt that's going to be seven-eighths inches in diameter. All right, let's start off by getting a few measurements. Now we're going to start from the front side of the rack to the backside of the bumper. That distance is going to be about seven and three-quarter inches. more

Kuat NV Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Nissan Rogue- Video

Today on our 2015 Nissan Rogue, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Kuat NV. This is a platform style 4 bike rack. They've designed it for use with 2 inch hitches. It will tilt away from the vehicle allow you to often open your hatch with the bike still loaded and it's also going to tilt up against the rear of the vehicle to make storage convenient. The part number is part number N105-107, that's for the black and chrome. We also have it available in a gun metal gray and orange if you'd prefer. more
