It does come with your inch and a quarter shank with a two inch adapter for your bigger hitches such as your Class 3. Also, with this kit you you can add another one of these platforms to make it a third bike rack. That's going to be INH306. Let's go ahead and get it fitted into the Class 2 Hitch that we have here today. more

All right today on this 2011 Kia Sorento, we're going to do a test fit of part number TH934XTR from Thule. This is their Hitching Post. A few things to know about this bike rack that it will work with 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches both class 1 and class 2. However, of a class 1 receiver hitch will be limited to carrying just two bicycles. This will also work with a 2-inch receiver hitch with the included spacer and that's what we'll be working with today. We'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch then we'll install the anti-rattle bolt, then we'll go ahead and get some clearance measurements. more

All right today on this 2011 Kia Sorento we're going to do a test fit of part number TH990XT from Thule. A couple of things to know about this bike rack is that it will work 1-1/4-inch receiver hitches both class 1 and class 2 and this will also work with 2-inch receiver hitches with the included spacer. We'll start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch then we'll tighten down the anti-rattle bolt and then install the lock on the other side. Then we'll go ahead and get a few clearance measurements. From the bicycle rack to the vehicle clearance is going to be 5 inches. Now lets go ahead and unfold the bike rack. more

Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Kia Sorento

Today, on our 2011 Kia Sorento, well be test fitting the Thule Vertex 4 Bike Carrier, part number TH9029.Now this bike carrier is capable of being used with the 1 inch or 2-inch hitches, class 1 through class 3. Although, when using the class 1 hitch, you are limited carrying only two bikes. Our vehicle is equipped with the 2-inch hitch and our bike rack is already pre-assembled, so were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle.Well simply slide the bike rack shank into the hitch, line up the hitch pinhole and insert our anti-rattle bolt. With our anti-rattle bolt snug, we can go ahead and tighten it down with a wrench. And now that our anti-rattle bolt is tight, our bike rack is secured to the vehicle and were ready to load it up. At this point, well go ahead and give you a few clearance measurements, and our ground clearance measurement is 10 inches and from the closest point of the bike rack to the back of the vehicle is 5 inches.Now well go ahead and unfold the bike rack and open the rear cargo door to gain cargo access. more

Thule Apex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2011 Kia Sorento

Well be test fitting the Thule Apex 4 Bike Carrier, part number TH9025. Quick note about this bike rack, it can be used with 1 inch up to 2-inch hitches, although when using the class 1 hitch, you are limited to 2 bikes. With our vehicle equipped with the 2-inch hitch, we will need to use the provided spacer block. With that installed and our bike pre-assembled, were ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. Well simply insert the bike rack shank into the hitch. Well need to pull the integrated locking hitch pin out so that it clears the hitch tube ring. more

Today on this 2011 Kia Sorento we are going to do a quick test fit of part number TH990XT from Thule. This is Thules Doubletrack Platfrom Style Bike Rack. This bike rack will work with 2 inch receivers as shown here, it will also work for class one and class two receiver hitch. We will go ahead and install the bike rack into the hitch; we will line up the install holes and install the anti-rattle bolt. Now the kit does come with a wrench to tighten it down, but a inch wrench will work as well, and the lock on the other side. Alright the bike rack is in its stored position. more
