Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro hitch mounted bike rack.One of the big questions we get asked in regards to these hitch mounted bike racks, is if you're still going to be able to have full access to the back of your Jeep. This one does fold down out of the way and allows us to do that down here. Pull this keeper off, slide this pin out, and this drops down and actually goes down quite a bit. Goes down more than a lot of the other racks. But with that said, it's going to give us a ton of space and room to open up our hatch, get whatever we might need in and out of the back of our Jeep. more

The rack that we have here today on the back of our Jeep can hold up to a total of two bikes. But if you only need to carry one, there's a single bike version available as well. Now, with that being said, one of my favorite things and one of the things that really separates this rack from many of the others is the way it secure our bike. It's going to use two wheel hooks. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee, we got the Thule Roadway, we're going to test fit it and see how it's going to fit onto the back of the Cherokee here. Now, this is designed for transporting two bikes. It's a folding and a tilting carrier, really nice, easy to set up. Part number on it is TH912XTR. Now, this is something we can use in 2-inch hitches or 1 1/4-inch hitches. If you've got multiple vehicles with different size hitches, this one's going to fit the bill for both of those. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Today, on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee, we've got the Swagman XC2 on it, and we're going to test it and see what kind of room and what kind of space we've got. This is a two-bike, platform style rack. It's been designed for use with inch-and-a-quarter or with two-inch hitches. Part number on it is S64650. The cool thing about this, or the thing I like is that we don't have any of the cradle straps and things like that to deal with. None of the hook and loop straps, rubber straps . We've got two really nice front and rear wheel cradles here that are going to give us a lot of support for our bike. Then that's squeezed down, right here on the top of our frame, with our frame hook. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Cherokee- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee, we've got the Kuat transfer. This is a platform-style three-bike rack. It's been designed for use with inch-and-a-quarter or with two inch hitches. Part umber is TS03G. As you can see, the transfer does a great job of holding our bike in position while we're heading down the road. It uses a rear-wheel strap here, to hold our rear wheel down into the rear wheel cradle, then we've got a front wheel hook that's used to pinch down on the wheel, keeps it into our lower wheel cradle down there.Now we want to set this hook as close as we can get it to the front brake caliper without it actually making contact. more

Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be doing a test fit of the Hollywood Racks Traveler. This is going to be your hanging-style 4-bike rack. It does come with an 1-1/4" shank but we're going to have the 2" adapter on it for our application today. Going to be part number HR8500. Let's go ahead and get our shank fitted into our receiver. Insert the shank into the receiver and line up the pinholes. With your pinhole lined up, go ahead and place in your anti-rattle bolt and thread it in as far as you can by hand. more

Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Platform Style Four Bike Rack. It does come with your two inch shank for your two inch hitches only and it will be part number SR2902. Let's get it fitted into our two inch receiver that we have here today. Insert the shank into the receiver and line up your pin holes. Once you have your pin holes lined up, insert your anti-rattle bolt. Put it in as far as you can by hand and then we'll tighten it down using a 3/4 inch socket. This anti-rattle bolt is going to help to eliminate a lot of the play, rattle and wobble that you may have in your bike rack. more

It's going to come with a 2" shank for your 2" hitches only, and it's going to be part number SA4414B. Let's go ahead and get it fitted onto our 2" receiver that we have here today. We'll start off by inserting our shank into our receiver and lining up the pinholes. It does have a threaded insert on the end of it on the inside of the shank. That way you can insert your anti-rattle bolt that you have here, and insert that from the driver side and threaded it in. more

It will be part number SA4025. Let's go ahead and get it fitted onto the back end of our Cherokee and 2" receiver. Insert your shank into your receiver and line up your pinholes. Always remember that Sarises thread in from the driver side, so take your anti-rattle bolt and once you have your holes lined up we'll thread that in. more

If you look at this rack it does come with your 1-1/4" shank for your class one and class two hitches, as well as a 2" adapter for your class three hitches. Let's go ahead and get it fitted into the class three hitch that we have here today. Insert the shank into the receiver and line up the pinholes. Today on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Swagman Trailhead, this is going to be your hanging style 4 bike rack. It does come with an 1 1/4 shank and a 2 inch adapter. Just keep in mind with the 1 1/4 shank that you are only going to be able to carry two bikes. If you are going to carry 4 bikes make sure that you have the 2 inch adapter and a 2 inch receiver. This is going to be part number S63380 and we'll fit it into to our receiver that we have here today. Line up your pin holes once you have it inserted and placing your anti rattle bolt which will look like this. Thread it in as far as you can by hand. more
