Saris MHS Bike Rack Review - 2022 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Saris MHS platform style bike rack on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. Now this bike rack holds the bike primarily by the wheels. That's gonna mean zero frame contact making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. It's gonna be good for e-bikes too. It's gonna hold the bikes actually really well because not only does it have those wheel hooks or those wheel hoops holding down the tires we've got some secondary points of contact like our back wheel strap, holding that back wheel bound. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The OnRamp is a platform style bike rack primarily designed to hold e-bikes. It's got a 66 pound weight capacity per bike and it's gonna hold the bike by the frame primarily here. It's a cradle with a strap wrapped around the frame, holding it in place with two wheel straps at the bottom as secondary points of contact. It does hold the bike pretty well in the rack and because it makes frame contact we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes but these cradles will slide up and down if you loosen it up and rotate 360 degrees so they can accommodate alternative frames pretty well. more

Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Yakima RidgeBack on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The RidgeBack is a hanging-style bike rack that holds a bike by the frame. It's up in these cradles with two straps over top of that frame, and a third one around our seat post as our anti-sway cradle. That's gonna limit our side to side movement, not fully eliminating it, but definitely helping reducing bike-to-bike contact, or in some cases, bike-to-vehicle contact. You can see our front wheel does like to move around a bit here, and if it we're to move enough, it might make contact with the vehicle. more

The Sherpa's gonna be a platform style bike rack that holds the bike in these trays and primarily by our front tire. That's gonna mean zero frame contact, making it good for our carbon frame bikes and alternative frame bikes. But with a 40 pound weight capacity, probably not the best option for your e-bikes. If you are looking for something that can handle up to 60 pounds, maybe check out the RockyMounts MonoRail. more

The SuperClamp's gonna be a platform style bike rack that holds a bike primarily by the tires. We've got a wheel hook on either wheel and it's being held into these two cradles, each with their own wheel strap as secondary points of contact. That's gonna make it really solid with all that contact and make it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes by not having any frame contact. With the 60 pound weight capacity per bike, it's gonna be good for e-bikes too. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi everyone, Abe here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Swagman E-Spec on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. This is gonna be a platform style bike rack that holds up to two bikes each in their own wheel cradles and primarily by the frame up here with the use of this frame hook. Frame hook's gonna mean a couple things. We don't wanna put carbon frame up here because it can damage the frame with any sort of frame contact. And because we're using a hook to make frame contact we will need a bike adapter bar for alternative frame bikes because otherwise this hook just can't get a good contact on the bike and hold it securely. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Swagman XTC2 Tilt on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The XTC is a platform style bike rack holding the bike in these wheel hoops and primarily by our frame up here. It's gonna hold it with a frame hook. Frame hook's important to note because any sort of frame contact, we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes, but with a frame hook specifically, we will probably need to pick up a bike adapter bar for alternative frame bikes to ensure that the hook gets a good solid contact on the frame and holds the bike well. more

Rhino Rack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Rhino Rack Hanging Style bike rack on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. This is going to be a, like I said hanging style rack that holds the bike by the frame here. We've got two straps over top the frame that hold it in these cradles, as well as, a third one around our seat post here to limit our side to side movement. That's gonna help with bike to bike contact not completely eliminating it but definitely reducing that movement. One thing I will point out with the way this bike rack kind of slants, the arms upwards we are getting some movement with our front tire here. more

The MonoRail is a platform style bike rack that holds a bike in these trays, and primarily, by our front tire. That's gonna mean zero frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes, and with a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, good for e-bikes too. Gets a really strong hold on the bike, because it's got a solid cradle around that front tire in addition to the hook, and we've got a good back wheel strap to keep that end down as well. Like many other bike racks in this class, we do have the ability to tilt it away with bikes loaded. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Kuat Transfer on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. The Transfer is a platform-style bike rack that holds the bike in these cradles and primarily by our front tire right here. Our wheel hook comes down and holds that pretty firmly in place and that's gonna mean zero frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes. Now this version of the bike rack only has a 40-pound weight capacity per bike, so not good for e-bikes, but if you upgrade to the strictly two-inch version, this one can work with inch and a quarter or two inch hitches, but there is a version that is strictly for two inch hitches that has a added weight capacity that's 60 pounds per bike. So if you need that e-bike compatibility and you have a two-inch hitch, I'd go with that one. more

Frame contact, and especially with a frame hook, is gonna mean probably wanna avoid carbon frame bikes to just avoid damaging that frame. And with alternative frame bikes, you probably will need a bike adapter bar to ensure that we get good contact with the frame. more

Thule EasyFold XT 2 Electric Bike Rack Review - 2022 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over the Thule EasyFold XT 2-bike rack here on a 2022 Hyundai Palisade. So the EasyFold XT is sort of a unique bike rack. It has some great features that no other bike rack has. Now this bike rack is primarily gonna be used for electric bikes, 'cause it supports a 65 pound per bike weight capacity for each of our two cradles. So one of those other features that make it specific to e-bikes is the integrated loading ramp. Now there's actually a convenient little storage system for your ramp when you're not using it. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade, we're gonna be checking out the Curt Premium hitch minor bike rack. One of the big questions, a lot of people ask and in regards to hitch minor bike racks is are they still gonna be able to get into the back of your SUV And with this one, the answer is, yes it does fold down out of the way. And to do that, there's a couple things we need to do. I'm not super crazy about this setup but I mean, it does work. You'll have this T knob there you loosen that up and then you pull this pin and clip out and then you can pull up on this handle and that's going to allow this to drop down. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Hollywood Racks Destination E-bike Rack here on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. Now, this is going to be a really nice e-bike rack. You're gonna have things like an included ramp so it's easy to get the bike up and down and it's going to have a 70-pound weight capacity per bike so that's really nice to see something a little bit above what might be considered standard at 60 pounds. It is gonna hold the bike really well here and one thing that I think sets this apart from any other e-bike rack out there is how easy it is to tilt the rack away from the vehicle with the bikes loaded. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over the Kuat NV 2.0, here on our 2022 Hyundai Palisade. So this is what the NV 2.0 looks like installed on our vehicle here with one bike attached. And if you ask me, the NV is the best looking bike rack option on the market. Now it's kind of hard to tell on video. But once you get up close and personal with this rack and you actually start looking at it, you'll notice that this thing is a very sharp rack.
