Saris MHS 2 Bike Rack Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris MHS Platform-Style Bike Rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, the MHS is gonna hold the bike in this tray and by each tire. We have these two arms ratcheted down and holding it pre-firmly in place here. I like this style of holding the bike personally, I think it's easiest to load and unload, and overall, it's a really good design, it's a really strong design. Like other platform-style bike racks in this class, you do have the ability to tilt it away with the bikes loaded. We've got this handle here at the end that we can just grab and pull and let this down. more

Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack for Fat Bikes Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hey guys, Kevin with etrailer, and today we'll gonna be taking a look at the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for two Fat Bikes here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. This platform bike rack is going to have a frame mount style, so that means it's going to attach to the bike frame, so you wanna make sure that you don't use this with any carbon fiber bikes or anything where you can actually damage the paint on it. And it's gonna have a 60 pound per bike capacity while in use with a Class 3 hitch. So that's with that two inch adjustment on the shank itself. Now if you take that adjuster off of there and you're using this in a Class 1 hitch and the inch and a quarter style opening then you're only gonna be limited to a 35 per bike capacity. What makes this bike rack stand out from the original Saris Freedom is it's gonna include these fat bike wheel cradles which is going to allow you to install a bike just like our Fat Bike right here. more

Saris Freedom Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris Freedom two bike rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. This platform style bike rack has easily adjustable wheel cradles as well as a frame mounted clamp which is going to allow you to easily fit a multitude of different frame styles as well as different wheel bases. When you're in a class three hitch with the 2" adapter on the shank of your bike rack, you're gonna be able to hold up to 60 pounds per bike in these wheel cradles. So that's gonna allow you to take your e-bike just like we have right here. Now if you remove that adapter and you need to get down to a class one hitch, so that 1 1/4", you're only gonna have a 35 pound per bike capacity. Now with this bike rack, there is quite a bit of space between the actual bike and your vehicle so you don't have to worry about that really banging up against the back of the vehicle. more

It's a platform style bike rack holding the bike in these cradles primarily by the tires. We've got two wheel hooks, one on either side, as well as some secondary straps down at the bottom holding it down in place. It's going to result in a very sturdy hold on the bike. You see there's no movement of the bike within the bike rack, which is great, but it's also going to mean zero frame contact, making it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes, as well as e-bikes with that 60 pound weight capacity per bike. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Kuat Piston Pro X 4-Bike Rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now the Piston is a very high-end bike rack with a lot of premium convenience features. The biggest one being the piston, that's where it gets its name. So with the hit of a button, these arms are gonna open up with those integrated pistons to allow you to load up your bikes or get them off a lot easier. The big thing with these is the Kashima coating on the arms themselves. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Swagman E-Spec platform style bike rack on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, this is a platform style bike rack holding the bike by the frame. We've got our frame hook up here as our primary method of contact. We have wheel cradles with wheel straps at the bottom but this is the thing that's actually holding the bike down in place primarily and holding it upright. Because it makes frame contact, we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes and with alternative frame bikes, we will need a bike adapter bar to ensure good contact with that frame and holding it securely. more

Rhino Rack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack hanging style bike rack, here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, this is a hanging style bike rack, meaning it hangs by the frame. We've got two straps over top of the frame, holding it down in these cradles, with a third one around the seatpost, limiting our side to side movement and bike to bike contact. There is still, obviously, going to be some movement but it will definitely help with that. more

This is a platform-style bike rack holding the bike primarily by our frame here, with this cradle and strap around the frame. That is gonna mean we wanna avoid carbon frame bikes, because it's making frame contact. Although, because of the way this cradle and strap works, it does rotate 360 degrees and it's able to adapt to the frame. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima HangTight 6-Bike rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now this style of rack is gonna hang the bike by the handle bars down the back. You can see with this, we fit a lot of bikes in here. Your only other options, really as far as carrying this many bikes on your vehicle would be to have a 4-bike rack plus two on the roof, which then requires a roof rack and a lot of lifting to get those bikes up there. While this bike rack does sit pretty high on most vehicles we actually are at a pretty reasonable height here on the Palisade. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade SH22G- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 platform style bike rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, the Sherpa is gonna be a really solid bike rack, holding it by the rear wheel and by the front tire here, meaning zero frame contact. That's gonna be good for our carbon frame bikes, our alternative frame bikes, and it does have a 40 pound weight capacity per bike. So, be careful with your e-bikes, you're probably not gonna be able to get those on here. If you are looking for something that can handle your e-bikes, maybe check into the Kuat NV, that has a 60 pound weight capacity per bike, so that could be a good option. more

That's gonna make it good for our carbon frame bikes, our alternative frame bikes, and with a 60-pound weight capacity per bike, even some of our e-bikes with that battery removed. Something else that's nice to point out is that this does have compatibility with our fat tire bikes too. So really an all-around great bike rack that's gonna accommodate a variety of bikes. more

Hey, everybody welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Yakima on-ramp, two-bike platform rack for electric bikes, here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. So this can be an awesome way if you're finding trouble or having trouble I should say, getting your heavy E-bikes onto your carriers. And why I say that, and as the name suggests, we are gonna have a ramp that is gonna assist us of actually getting our bikes onto our carrier. It also is gonna support a 66 pound weight capacity limit, making sure that it's actually built and ready to handle your heavy E-bikes, which is great. Especially if you're comparing this to some of the other carriers on the market, a lot of them are gonna kinda come to a standstill at about 60 pounds per bike. more

Evangeline: Hi, it's Evangeline from etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Yakima BackRoad four-bike hanging style rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, what's great about this bike rack is that it can carry four of your bikes, it has a nice design feature to keep them safe from scuffs and scratches, and its cradles are a good ways apart so your bikes aren't tangled up while you're driving around. The way the bike is mounted to our bike rack here are at three mounting points, so one, two and three. This third one right here is the anti-sway cradle, so it greatly reduces the sway of our bike while we are driving around.To take it off, what you need to do is press in the levers and then pull the ZipStrips out, so one, two and three. You can put them in your pocket or in your glove box when you're out for a ride. I'll just put them on there for now. more

This is a two-bike platform rack, and one of the best features is we can actually tilt our bike rack down with bikes on it, to get into our trunk.As you can see, there's plenty of room for our trunk to open and still clear our bike. As you can see, there's plenty of room to where we can get into our trunk, if we need to get a drink or bike parts, anything we might need before we go out on the trail. When we're done on our trunk, we simply close the trunk of our vehicle, come back up here and tilt our bike rack up.Our bike is secured in two spots. more
