If you're looking for a durable and reliable bike rack that has pretty much all the features you'd expect from a premium rack that's where the Kuat NV comes in handy. Now the Base version is the matte black not as premium option as a Kuat NV 2.0 where you still get pretty much the same features but at a slightly more affordable price. So let's talk about how this fits on the Honda Pilot. I think it fits great. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have a Saris SuperClamp EX two-bike rack. We're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2020 Honda Pilot, and we'll talk about its different features and help you decide if this is gonna be the right bike rack for you. This does have some different features like a great weight capacity of 60 pounds for your electric bikes. It's technically a dual wheel mount rack and it has straps, so whether you have any type of frame or even if you have fenders, this can technically work for them. So there's a lot of versatility to this rack, but the first feature we'll take a look at is gonna be our tilt away feature. There's a large lever here at the end. more

RockyMounts AfterParty Swing Away 2 Bike Rack Review - 2020 Honda Pilot- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the RockyMounts AfterParty 2 Bikes Swing Away bike rack, and we're gonna take a look at how this fits our 2020 Honda Pilot. This bike rack is especially helpful because it swings away for full hatch access. Plus you also have the fun features of this being a dual wheel mounted bike rack and a good weight capacity for heavy electric bikes. What we're gonna do is we're going to loosen the lever down here. So this lever is pretty much loosened so I'm just gonna rotate this until it's completely out. And then in the back there's that knob. more

Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack Review - 2019 Honda Pilot- Video
Hey it's Ethan here at Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 hitch bike rack and how it fits on our 2019 Honda Pilot. The Sherpa is a two-bike platform style bike rack capable of supporting 40 pounds per bike. It's gonna hold our bike primarily by this tire hook and one additional strap in the back so there's no frame contact in the event that you wanna do transport carbon frame bikes or really aggressive alternative frame style bikes. You could do that. You have fenders or a really nice paint job to work with that too. more

Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Electric Bike Platform Rack Review - 2019 Honda Pilot- Video
Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE hitch bike rack, how it fits on our 2019 Honda Pilot. Sport Rider SE is a two-bike platform style bike rack capable of supporting up to 80 pounds. It's going to hold onto our bike primarily with this frame hook here and two additional straps down at the bottom. So because it does make that frame contact, we don't recommend using this rack with carbon frame bikes 'cause it could potentially damage them while your driving. And alternative frame style bikes should work as long as the hooks contact. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2016 Honda Pilot- Video
How's it going, everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro Four Bike Rack on the back of our 2016 Honda Pilot. This is a hanging-style bike rack. It is going to be holding the bike primarily by the top of the frame and by this anti-sway clip in the back here. So if you do have carbon frame bikes, or alternative frame bikes, you might want, or you definitely don't wanna use carbon frame bikes, but if you have an alternative frame bike, you may need a bike adapter bar. This bike rack is capable of supporting 35 pounds per bike or 140 pounds total. more

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2022 Honda Pilot- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer, today on our 2022 Honda Pilot we're gonna be checking out the Thule Hitching Post Pro, Hitch Mount Bike Rack. First impression of the rack on the back of the Honda, I think it looks good, this Thule rack kinda has a timeless design if you ask me, so, you know, and honestly just about any type of accessory you put on the back of the pilot looks right at home, but this could be a great way to get a lot of bikes to and from the trails so this can hold up to a total of four. And one of the great things about it is it's super easy to use and figure out and live with, you know, personal I don't want anything overly complicated or difficult and that's not the case at all with this one. With that said though, the way it's going to hold your bike down, it's gonna use three straps, so you're gonna have two straps up here and then a strap down here, what that one's gonna help do is eliminate side to side movement, of way your bike aren't banging into each other as you're going down the road. Well, why don't we go ahead just take our bike off so we can have a better look at the rack. And just pull the iron on the straps. more

Now the Honda Pilot is a great third row SUV and chances are, if you have a third row SUV, you have little kiddos that sit in those seats. This is a 4 bike hanging style rack so you're going to be able to get up to four bikes loaded so you can haul them to and from your destination. Works out great if you got a family you want to take out to the trails or even you just want to get a group of buddies and take one car then you're going to be able to get all your guys' bikes loaded up on here and secured.For each bike loaded, you see it is holding it by our top tube right here with our two support arms, that's how most hanging style racks will be. We have two nice thick rubber straps securing our top tube right here. more

It's going to be nice for you and a couple kids, or your wife and a kid, or maybe even some buddies, to get your bikes out to the trails and go for a ride.Now, this bike rack is going to be more of a basic or entry-level bike rack, just something that if you're just looking for a simple bike rack that's going to get your bikes from A to B and you don't need all the fancy features that you might find on some others, this going to be a really great option for you.Now, each bike is going to be secured at two points. Once you have the straps out of the way, just grab our bike and set it off to the side. more

Today on our 2019 Honda Pilot, we're gonna be test fitting the Hollywood Rack's Trail Rider Two Bike platform rack, which is part number HR200Z. Now this bike rack is a great accessory. It's gonna be able to haul up to two bikes to your destination, and it's gonna secure your bikes at three different points. You can see . go through them points on making sure the bike stays on the rack, doesn't move at all, and it's not gonna make contact with the other bike. The three points we're securing, is we have a hooking loose strap on the back wheel and then we have the same thing on the front wheel. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Honda Pilot- Video
Today in our 2016 Honda Pilot, we've gonna be test-fitting the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches, part number S64650. We already have a bike installed on the vehicle. Let's take a closer look, and show off some of the features. How the bike is held into place, we're gonna have one point of contact, which is gonna be this padded hookup at the top, and that's gonna keep it in place, while the tires rest in these wheel cradles here, which are adjustable along the length of the bike rack to accommodate loading and different sized bikes. So, you loosen and tighten these knobs to adjust them along the length of the arm here. Also, this does have a raised shank to it, so even with vehicles that has a particularly low hitch-clearance, it's not gonna have an issue of clearance between the bike rack and the ground. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside, we'll hold on to the bike while we release our hooks here, and that's just to make sure the bike doesn't fall onto the vehicle. There's this gray button here at the base of our frame-hook, push that in, and now we can grab the bike and set it off to the side. more

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Honda Pilot- Video
Today on our 2016 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Hanger 3 Bike Rack, for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number MPG2127. We already have a bike installed on our rack, so let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of our features. At the ends of our arms we will have reflectors for better vision at night. The cradles all are adjustable along the arms here to accommodate loading and unloading, and can be tightened down with these blots here and an included tool. It grips your bike at two points. We're going to have a strap up at the top here and off to the side here. That's going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep your bike from moving too far back and forth, and making bike to bike contact. When all three bikes are loaded, it does come with two stabilization straps to put around the bikes as well. more

Today on our 2011 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test-fitting the Yakima HoldUp Two Bike Rack, part number Y02443. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now, the first and most important feature about this bike rack is the fact that you can tilt this away from the vehicle to gain rear hatch access with the bike still attached. To do this, you come to this red knob here towards the vehicle, lifting up slightly on the bike rack, you pull out and holding onto the bike rack, not the bikes, you let the bike rack come towards you. Now, we have access to our rear hatch. I would like to point out that with the handle bars we have here, it just barely misses. more

Today on this 2016 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Roadway 2 Bike Rack, part number TH912XTR. As you can see, we already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now first how it actually attaches to the rack, it's going to have three points of contact. We're going to have two straps up top here to the frame and one off to the side here. That's going to be an anti-sway strap to keep the bike from moving back and forth, possibly hitting the bike itself or the bikes in front of it. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. When you take the straps off, it's always a good habit to put them back into place because you don't want to lose them while you're driving. more

Today on this 2016 Honda Pilot we're going to be testing the Thule Vertex Four Bike Rack, part number TH9029XT. As you can see, we already have a bike installed on our rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of those features. First off, the bike actually attaches to the rack with three points of contact to your bike's frame. As you can see, we already have a bike installed on the rack, so go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now, how this bike is actually attached to the rack . you're going to have 4 points of contact with your bike's frame. We're going to have 3 straps, up top here, and one off to the side here, which is going to serve as an anti-sway strap to keep the bike from going back and forth, hitting possibly the bike rack itself, or the bikes in front of it. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. When you remove the straps, it's always a good habit to put them back into place because you don't want them flapping around when you're driving, and more importantly, you don't want to lose them while you're driving. more

Today on our 2003 Honda Pilot we're going to be test fitting the Yakima FullTilt. This is a folding and tilting 4-bike rack. It's been designed for use in 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. Its part number is Y02462. To begin our test fit we'll slide the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of our hitch. As we slide it in we'll keep an eye for the small silver pin to come out in our hitch pinhole. more
