Today on our 2006 Honda Odyssey well be test fitting the Yakima Stickup 2-Bike Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier, part number y02420. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pin hole, and thread in our anti-rattle bolt tightening it with a wrench. Now well go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 10 1/2 inches of ground clearance. With the bike carrier in the folded position weve added about 11 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. Now well go ahead and pull the red knob at the base of the carrier to allow our carrier to tilt. more

Thule Apex 4 Swing Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2006 Honda Odyssey

Today on our 2006 Honda Odyssey well be test fitting the Thule Apex Swing 4-Bike Carrier, part number th9027. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We can then allow the included pin to slip into position and then tighten the hand knob at the base of the shank to engage our anti-rattle device. Now we can go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 10 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of the vehicle is just about 2 inches. more

Today on our 2006 Honda Odyssey well be test fitting the Thule Apex 4-Bike Carrier, part number th9025. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch. Once we make sure that the pins in place we can then move to the rear of the shank and use the hand knob to engage our anti-rattle device and secure our bike rack to the vehicle. Now well go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 11 inches of ground clearance. When the bike carrier is in the folded position weve added about 11 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. more

Today on our 2006 Honda Odyssey, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Traveler 5-bike carrier, part number HR9200. Now to begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, thread our anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes, and tighten with a wrench. Now with the Hollywood Racks Traveler 5-bike carrier secured to our Honda Odyssey, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about 10". And with the cradle arms folded down, we've added about 13" to the overall length of our vehicle. We'll now turn the two black knobs on the upright mast of the carrier to swing out the cradle arms. more

Now to begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, thread our anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes, and tighten with a wrench. Now with the Hollywood Racks Traveler secured to our Honda Odyssey, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together. We have about 10" of ground clearance. With the cradle arms folded down, we've added about 6" to the overall length of our vehicle. We'll now pull the pin at the top of the mast to swing the cradle arms out, and we've added about 31" to the overall length of our vehicle. more

To begin our test fit, we'll simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, thread our anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes, and tighten with a wrench. We'll then secure it with a clip on the other side. Now with the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider for recumbents secured to our Honda Odyssey, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together. We have about 18" of ground clearance. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle is about 4". more
