Softride Hang2 Tilting Bike Rack Review - 2010 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2010 Honda CRV, we'll be test fitting the Soft Ride Hang Two Hitch Mounted Bike Rack, part number SR27041. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pin holes, we'll thread in the anti-rattle bolt from the right hand side of the bike rack. I'll be using the threaded hole which is closest to the mast of the bike rack. After tightening the anti-rattle bolt down with a wrench, we'll go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 13 inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle is about 2 inches away and we've added about 19 inches to the overall length of our CRV. We'll undo the two rubber straps which secure the top part of the bike rack to the bottom part of the bike rack. more
